| How long does it take you to get to work? How long does it take you to get to work? Seattle traffic really sucks, it can vary from 25 minutes to 50 minutes (if there's an accident or whatnot). At the rate gas prices are, I think my daily 30 mile (round-trip) commute costs me $5 a day in gas alone! Carpooling would be good for me if my schedule wasn't so wacky. And it seems no matter how high gas prices go, around here, it doesn't matter, as the amount of traffic remains the same... Do you have to pay any tolls to get to work? Do you take the subway, train, bus, or carpool to work? |

| When I drive to work it takes me about an hour to get to work. Then I'd have to park in the parking garage ($16) and walk 2blks to work from there. The way home is WAY worse and it would take me over and hour and a half in the car. That's 28 miles roundtrip. So I take the bus and train. The train drops me off a block away and its 2.50 each way. It takes me an hour from the time I am standing on my corner waiting for the bus to get to my offc door and and hour and 15 on the way home

| I live 12 miles from work. 45 MINUTES TO GET THERE! On the days I work from home, I just love it! If I work really late or run out to the office on a weekend it is 20 minutes, tops.

| Well with the stop lights it takes me about 10-12 minutes to get to the train station, another 5 minutes to park and walk to the train, 35 min. train ride and the station is right below the building. Cost of the train ride is 3.35 EACH WAY!!! But it's cheaper than paying for gas and $22 for parking at my work. It sucks but it's better than getting stuck in traffic. I wish I could work from home or NOT WORK AT ALL Hell at this point, I'd even be happy with working in the same city that I live in.

| My commute is 40 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic. I don't really mind the commute unless I'm running late, which has been daily for the last month I don't have to pay for parking so that's a bonus
