| I Have a Confession to Make!! I can't stand little kids or babies. There, I said it. It feels good to get it out in the open.

| That's too bad Kristy, you are totally missing out. Kids and babies can be a pain sometimes but they are so fun to be around other times. When I'm around my nephew, I feel at peace because he's so innocent and all he cares about is play time. He doesn't know what's going on in the world around him, much like our furbabies. I can't imagine anyone not liking babies or kids, but I'm sure you'll feel differently when you meet that special someone who's kids you will want to have. And if you don't want to have kids thats ok too. I'd rather have people who really want kids, to have kids, as opposed to the opposite. I guess it's just a personal choice.

| I just babysat my 10 month old nephew. I am his godmother and I love him to death, but I could NOT wait to get out of that house. I have so little patience.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Well at least you're honest! Some people are kid people and some aren't. It's okay to express how you feel. I have just about enough patience for my own 2. When it comes to other people's kids, I cringe. Don't take me wrong, my kids aren't perfect by any means...I just don't do other people's kids very well for very long. Yes, I work at a school and the 30 minutes I spend with the Kinder class during my lunch duty is enough to drive someone stark raving mad!!!!!

| Oh I love being a mom and being a Gammy is even better! My husband told my son to not bring our grandson back until he was 5!!! He is 10 months old and still cries a lot!!! My hubby has never had a lot of patience...don't get me wrong, he loves that grandson!!!

| I have never been a kids person.. animals always, I have little patience too, everyone says " Oh, if you had kids you would." Hmmmm, not so sure. So I have my pet kids, and that's it for me,, never had that longing,, and haven't regretted it yet.

| kids are not my favorite either. i'm not saying people who have kids made a mistake or don't love them. it's just not for everybody. we live in a society where we are expected to have kids and a childless life is not well accepted. i live happy and childless. not having kids allows me the pleasures of a life where i can go out worry free and have the extra cash. i work and travel year round and having a child would not be fair to them. i enjoy my nieces and nephews as if they were my own. i'm happy with my choices. my yorkie is my baby. i adore him and he gives me unconditional love. if i have a change of heart i probaly would adopt. why have one when there are so many unwanted children worldwide. |

| There was a time of my life where I loved kids and loved being around them - like high school and the first half of college....I used to babysit SOOO much. I think it was after I got out of the habit of being around children, that my patience started to wear thin for being around them. Just today, a client brought in her two kids who played with Sully and after we showed the kids his tricks, they both started 'barking' out orders at him to do more tricks for them (wrong commands, hand signals, etc. and both kids were yelling at sully at the same time.) - I was annoyed, but I did realize that they're children - that's what they do. LOL. Sully didn't seem to mind either. He was a bit confused with them saying words he knew in such strange manners, but he wagged his tail anyway. I gave each kid two small dog treats and told them to give him correct commands one at a time and he'd listen better. That took patience to say b/c what I was thinking was "STOP BOSSING MY POOR DOG AROUND AND LEAVE HIM ALONE!" haha. Right now in my life, I am glad I can pick and choose when I have to be around kids - but I know it will be different when I have kids of my own and I know that with having kids will also come patience for mine and others' children. I am enjoying my freedom now tho. I do look forward to being a mommy one day, but definitely not yet.

| I work with kids all day and I enjoy it however, my patience does wear thin at times...especially at this time of year. Right now I like coming home to fur babies and have no desire to have children of my own yet. I don't want to be 40 and have my first child but I just don't feel ready to be a parent right now.

| When I was younger...much younger, I couldn't stand having little kids around me. They were dirty, loud, etc.. etc.. BUT, all it took was one look into my son's face when he was born, that was it !! I've loved kids ever since.
