I had skin cancer....don't feel like looking up the real spelling...it's close to scarsnoma. Had it removed from my lip. According to the surgeon...the skin cancer is the result of sun damage from years AGO....when you were a teenager....not an adult.

Internal affairs...have told ya this a thousand times.

Yep thats what she had, she had to have Radiation,, it was mark beside her nose,, Don't worry wont hurt your teeth" yeah right she has since had root canals on all her teeth on that side..

When I had radiation on my thyroid (twice), my dentist put me on a flouride treatment because he said that radiation can sometimes cause you not to produce enough salvia and therefore, it causes cavaties and dental problems. He said that most techs are good about the radiation and therefore, there shouldn't be any cause of tooth decay, etc. But, sometimes, the techs don't pinpoint the area and extra radiation goes where it shouldn't or something like that. I have bad teeth anyway, but haven't had any problems since my last treatment.

No radiation here. They have some super duper new procedure they do here....actually there were only three surgeons in this area that perform it.
They take a little out, biopsy it, if it's still there, a little more, biopsy...until they get all the cancer cells. There is far less scarring. This kind of skin cancer can masnestize if you do not get it removed. I had a dime size hole in my lip. The surgeon did a very nice job of fixing it....you can't tell I even had it done. If mine had been worse...I'd would've had to have gone from his office to a plastic surgeon. A little old lady there....was so sad....they just kept cutting her nose and cutting her...she had to go to the plastic surgeon. After they cut wherever your cancer is....they put ya in a waiting room all together until they get done biopsying it...so here we sit...my lip, lady's nose, man's ear, guy's forehead.... PS I was the youngest person there. It also takes ALL day....got there at 8 didn't leave the office til 4.

Yeah, hers was years and years ago, I was probably 10-12 years old, All I can remember.. MY MOM HAS CANCER.. I was so scared! OK NO MORE OFF TOPIC!

Kinda knew you'd like hippos, Lola Actually I like them too....with baby hippos.

We live close to Busch Gardens and King's Dominion....but love Disneyland....got a thing for Aladdin.
