Ive actually never experience any weight gain since I havce been diagnosed with hypothyroid and people always think I have hyperthyroid because of that but I dont. I take 150 mcg of sythroid. I also take vitamin B complex to help with energy. Thats what my doctor told me to take and I think it is suppose to help with the memory too(cant exactly remember, lol). I now have high cholestoral too and I was reading last week that hypothyroid can really affect the cholestoral and make the levels higher so you have to watch that. |
I'm trying to find ways to feel less tired right now. That is my biggest struggle. I just feel tired and sleepy all the time, no matter what time I sleep and wake up. I struggle to get through my day at work, because I just want to sit in a bathroom stall and sleep. My work is very fast pace and exciting but most days I can barely see straight, I'm so sleepy. Everything else is good though, my cholestoral level is good and my over all health is good. I am a health food junky, I try not to eat processed or junk food, but being human I do give into the chips or ice cream occasionally. But I don't eat fast food, fried food, ect. I cook a lot because I think the diet makes a huge difference in how you feel with this disease. I like to get my protein, carbs, veggies and fruit in every meal. Might be the reason I lost a lot of weight so that's great. I should receive my test results soon, and I can figure out what to do from there.
