BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Something to think about... Has anyone ever thought about why we get cancer and all these other health issues? I have been talking to someone and she has been doing a lot of research and she thinks it's are water, now I'm in Indiana and I don't know what your death rate is where you live, but everytime I turn around, someone is dying of cancer, and it's usually someone between the ages of 40 on up, the other day a friend of mine I grew up with died of lung cancer and she was only 32! She never smoked and she didnt even know she had it until it was to late. It's so scary to think about, I'm 32 and I can't imagine leaving my husband and children behind. This friend of mine that has been doing to research on the water seems to think even if you buy nothing but bottled water, when we bathe, the water is still soaking into are skin. She has talked about putting a Whole House Water Filtration System in. Anyone else have any thoughts on this subject? |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I DO think about it having a terminal husband....I know WHY he is sick but it's hard to accept no matter what. That's so sad about your friend. I'm very sorry. I really don't think it's the water in this country EXCEPT for some areas near Plants with Toxic Waste. They seem to have Batch illnesses - more so than other areas and that is VERY scary. Many materials can cause cancer and many other things contribute to these types of illnesses - but I want to believe it's not the drinking water in our country or EVERYONE would be sick. |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I'm sorry to hear about your husband! It just upsets me that the insurance will pay for us to get sick and give us all these medicines but they wont pay for prevented health. She found that her water in the country and she has a 100 foot well, has 5% arsenic. Now if you ask me, thats not safe drinking water, she has 5 people in her house and each one of them has something wrong. I live in the city, so I sure hope are city water is ok! But I'm not 100% sure. Don't you think if we found something wrong with are drinking water that the city should have to make it where it's safe for us? I don't know, I may just be babbeling on, but I hate looking in the obits anymore, to many young people are dying. |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Ohh she is, the person I'm talking about is my Chiropractor, yesterday I went to see her cause I had a bad pain in my right side, I didnt think it was my appendix cause the pain was not "that" bad, but I took 2 aleve and it did not go away, so I called her up (I dont go to doctors unless I HAVE to) and she seen me that day and she did reflexology on me and found that it was my kidneys, maybe a infection, but she cant diagnose me with that, but she told me what to do and what to take, and I did all day yesterday and my pain is gone and I have been drinking water like crazy. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Maybe since you are drinking alot of water - try the bottled water to be safe and I hope you're going to be ok ! It must have been bad for you to call someone - I'm the same way - I have to be practically crying to call a doctor for a problem like that...and I don't blame you for being worried after what you just posted. |

But then my brother lives in the middle of nowhere in Western PA and he has MS. Evidently there is a 'batch' of it in the area where he lives. Could it be the well water??? A lot of people believe that it is all the hormones and chemicals that are in our foods. Organic food is becoming really popular and more readily available around here...

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Ohh I 100% agree with you, another thing I have found out, the aluminum in pop cans and in are deoderant and even cooking pans that have aluminum in it is linked to Alzheimers, I no longer buy any deoderant that says it has aluminum in it, read the back of the deoderant stick and see what the ingredient says! I only found 1 deoderant at walmart that dont have aluminum in it and I can't even remember the name of it, but it's a natural deoderant and it DOES work! |

| I don't know about the water, and cancer, but I do think all the chemicals in fast food are connected to ADHD. It just seems to me that just in the last generation there have be way too many kids diagnosed with ADHD and it's been within this last generation that all of the fast food places have popped up. I wonder also about bi polar disease, which to me is just an adult version of ADHD |

| I think that there is a lot of environmental pollution and that this may be directly linked to certain types of cancers. My bf has two friends who grew up in the same neighborhood. Their fathers were both healthy and young and both died from the same rare intestinal cancer. I think that this is something worth looking into. There is so much pollution and it has to affect us in some way. As for organic food, my girlfriend (a farm girl) once told me that they have organic farms right next to non-organic farms. She says they end up with the same pesticides due to runoff. Gets me thinking?

| I believe it is a combination of all the unnatural preservatives in our foods as well as all the chemicals we are exposed to in everyday things such as household cleaners. It is expensive to be proactive, but I do look for organic foods and I have converted to using only non-toxic cleansers as well as natural plant ingredients in shampoos, soaps, facial cleansers and lotions.
