Donating YT 14K Club Member | Is anyone here a nurse? A friend and I have been talking about going through the nursing program. I need to ask someone a question so if you're a nurse, post here or pm me. Thanks!

| Kimberley - I know we have a number of nurses, just can't remember who but you might want to bump this later today after they get off their shifts.

| I have a bunch of medical professionals in my family. My mother, cousin and aunt, are all RN's. My hubby is an MD. Me? I'm just a programmer in the sea of medical professionals. I think healthcare is a great field to get into though.

| I'm not a nurse, but I think I'm going to go to nursing school because my rescue squad pays a lot of the schooling I think!

| My sister is graduating school to become an RN this year. She says be careful, a lot of those tech schools they advertise in nursing commercials that say you will be finished with school in less than a year MIGHT not be exactly the type of job you are hoping for. In her opinion RN is the way to go. I know it's lots of hard work, but she really enjoys it! She is on myspace if you want to talk to her. Good luck! |

| Here is a website with some info on becoming a nurse and choosing a program. http://www.studentdoc.com/become-a-nurse.html Please make sure the college is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission or the (NLNAC). Many of those tech schools advertised on tv aren't. Again, Good luck in whatever you decide! |
