| Funny Little Story Let me share some humor with you guys. This afternoon, we had really bad (tornadic) activity in the area. Hubby went to get Taylor from school early before it got here. He said they were standing in the yard...you know, cause that's what responsible Daddys do when a tornado is coming ....and looked up at a funnel cloud passing by. (We kind of live on a hill so you can see pretty far off, it wasn't like right over our house...) He looked at the 5-yr old Miss Priss and said, "I think there is a tornado forming right there. Sweetie, I think we need to get back inside." He said her eyes got really wide and she looked at him and said, "Daddy...I think we need to get the h*** out of here!" Lol...kids... I asked if he got on to her. He said, "How could I? I was laughing to hard!" (And just FYI...it is a very RARE occassion that she hears foul language from either of us. We DO edit ourselves around her.) |

| That is too funny!!! But you know, when I am scared I sometimes say things I would never say in other situations! Today were lucky and did not have any storms in our area. They were all south and north of us. We have been working claims around Birmingham tho...from the last storms! This is a bumpy storm season for sure!

| That is so funny! It reminds me when my oldest son was 4 and I was having a yard sale. Now keep in mind that my son was tiny in size, he may have looked 2 at the time, but he could carry on a conversation like an adult!..anyhoo...My parents had come up for the weekend to help us with the yard sale, and of course we started bright and early on Sat morning before my son got up. Well around 8 he came over to us and said, "Mom I woke up this morning and went to find you and Nanny and I couldn't, and then I came out here on the porch and I saw ALL this stuff in the yard and I thought to myself...What in the he!! is going on out here!!!!" I tried to keep a straight face while telling him why he shouldn't say that and of course my mother was just mortified as there was one little elderly woman there that heard him!! The boys get a big laugh now that they are grown when we talk about that. Yep...kids say the darndest things!! Gotta love them!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | LOL !!!!!!!! CUTE Stories - kids sure know just HOW to say the words we don't want them to say...and with the right emphasis.... I remember my oldest as a toddler sitting on his potty seat...phone rings ...I race to grab it...come back in the bathroom and he's sitting there strapped in... Trying to get the little belt off....I stood in the doorway watching him with this really big look of concentration.... then heard him mutter...dam*it....and I almost dropped the phone. It was precious and I was really chuckling...but I had NO idea where he got that from either...I still have the image of that curly headed boy on his potty seat uttering a little cuss word |

| lool...my nephew is the bad word police. Whomever comes into our home, must hear his rules he says "There are 3 words you can't say, Jesus will get mad at you and Dina (his grandma, my mom) will put you on time out...STUPIT (that's how he says it), shutup, hate." of course he loves repeating these words to just say them and not get in trouble because he's being informative but it's really funny.

That reminds me of my daughter when she was younger. We'd watch some movie and the lead actor said the word...damnit....so Casey says...oh, Damnit's a bad word, isn't it momma? You should never say damnit, huh, momma? People get in trouble if they say damnit, don't they momma? He's bad for saying damnit, isn't he momma? Yeppers damnit's a bad word...but she used it 1/2 dozen times telling me how bad it was to use After she was done telling me how "bad" this actor was....she said to me...you like him, don't you, momma? I said yes....then she says...you like bad boys, dont' ya, momma? Thought to myself....Lord, child, if you only knew...back in the day

| She pulled another little stunt like that once before. In the fall when Trixie had her pups, naturally, she had one that was just a little butterball and much fatter than the others. When our neighbors came over to see them, Taylor pointed out the fat one, looked at my neighbor and said with an air of sympathy for the pup, "Yeah, this one's just a little fat a**" Needless to say, my neighbor about lost it trying not to laugh at her. |
