hannah<3333 i too am going through a bad breakup...we were together for 2 years and i just recently found out he cheated on me a year ago. it wicked hard to deal with and it doesnt help either that we work really close to eachother [he just "drops" in to see me] or that he calls me everyday...i wwant to tell him to stop calling me, but i really dont want him to stop so i dunno its a huge mess... but i def know that breaking up with him was what i had to do. i will never be able to trust him and whats a relationship without trust? at any rate, congrats on making such a tough decision, sounds like it needed to be done. i think kristy's suggestion of having a friend on call is AMAZING...and also im here if you need to vent/bitch/cry/talk/laugh whatever. i know it kills in the beginning, but the hurt does subside and you will eventually feel "free" and hapyp again :] i know how hard it is and you are def not alone<3

Good for you! I'm happy for you. I've also been through tons of break-ups in my time. I've also dated lots of losers. When you stay with them it's just for security, you know? I know you care about him, but the best thing to do it cut off all ties. You don't want him to reel you back with his emotional crap. It'll only bring you down too.

I was just going back and reading this cause it was kinda a ruff morning...I thought I would look here for a confidence booster!! You guys are so wonderful. Good for you. It sounds like you did the right thing putting yourself first. Breakups are always hard in the beginning but time does heal all wounds.
