CONGRATS on your upcoming wedding! That's really exciting!

Well, I broke my pinky toe while putting on my wedding dress! Talk about a disaster, lol lol.

Here's the story: http://www.xanga.com/item.aspx?user=...&uid=114437596

And girl, I've about seen it all now that I work in the wedding business, lol.

Well the wedding part was fine - our friends that were supposed to video tape it were late and we had to recreate it right afterwards!!

Then we were on our way from where we got married to the reception and our Bronco we had at the time broke down...and the photographer was right behind us!! There we are at the side of the rode me in my wedding dress and my husband in his suit standing in front of a steaming vehicle!! Here is a picture. I had a nice dress to change into for the reception and ended up opening presents and everything still in my wedding dress and going back to move the bronco in shorts and a t-shirt to figure out how we were going to get to the beach the next day!....We ended renting a car! Which turned out to be great - a lot better on gas!!

I'm not so sure you want to hear mine! Two days before the wedding my sister got hit in the nose with a softball, so my maid of honor had two black and blue eyes. She also got her finger stuck in a swingy garbage can top and had a broken finger. (Good thing it wasn't all about her!) When we booked our reception this very obnoxious man at the place kept saying "We provide everything but the groom ha ha ha" Well, two days before I found out they don't provide table cards so I ran all over town buying 8 at a time at card stores until I had enough. (200). then my two neices were in my wedding and their dance recital ended up being the night before, so I had to change my rehearsal dinner to the Thursday before. on the way home from that my sister got into a car accident with herself, the girls and my mom in the car. Luckily it wasn't really serious. the woman who made my girls dresses literally delivered them to my house at midnight on Friday night. The limos came and we jumped in without paying attention to the time, that is how I ended up being 45 minutes early for my own wedding. There was another one just finishing up when we go to the chapel! A few weeks before the wedding the clergyman who was going to marry us was reassigned. The new Bishop was a wonderul man, I loved him. He was a midget! We were used to him, but it was a bit of a shock to a lot of people! My neice had an asthma attack and had to leave the church for the air conditioned car. When we walked in to the cocktail hour the first thing I picked up was a swedish meatball which fell off of the toothpick and bounced down the front of my dress. I could go on and on. We were engaged for 2 years and everything unraveled right before the wedding. The honeymoon is another long story! But, we just laughed it all off. Relax and don't stress, everything doesn't have to be perfect...you'll still be married when it's all over and that is what it's all about!

Default My Wedding

Well mine isn't too exciting but I was just married on December 26th (day after Christmas) 2005. My husband and I had been together for a long time and decided to make it LEGAL. He proposed on Dec 20th and we were married just 6-days later. I ordered my wedding dress, rings, candles, flower girl dresses, EVERYTHING online and had it shipped next day air. My wedding turned out beautiful other than the fact that only 3 of my 5 chitlins made it to the wedding........long story. Anyways, that is my chaotic story. I could go into more details but that would take up post of this thread!!

Here are a few pictures from our very crazy day. Good luck.

Here are my stories so far before the wedding, my flowergirls dress that my my ordered has been discounted, my veil last week came in wrong and they have to rush to re order the one that i wanted, and my girls in my wedding party (mostly my lovely sister) changed the color of the dresses that i wanted and then since they didn't like the color that i picked out we also had to change the color of the flowers that i ordered, plus my red roses that i wanted, cause now that there dresses are light green it will look like a Christmas wedding

That would make me very upset!! It's your wedding not hers! My friend got married and one of the girls said she didn't like the color of the dress and my friend's to-be-husband told her if his to-be-wife wanted it to be purple with green polka-dots she would wear it & love it!!

Within two blocks of each other are two churches, the methodist one (site of our wedding) and a baptist one. Now on the wedding day....guess what....there are wedding ceremonies at both. When I get ready to go into the church for the ceremony....lots of people I don't reconginze are leaving I thought WTH??? Come to find out those people were at the WRONG church. At the time, I worked at a doctor's office with 30 some women....one told me they'd went to the baptist church....when the groom walked out....their entire pew got up to leave 'cause they didn't know that guy. I have signatures from strangers in my guest book

Good luck!

My short Wedding Story.
Poem By Villette

In the Honeymoon Suite in Newport RI.

The hotel GAVE OUT THE KEY

to some other guy.

At a REALLY BAD TIME....

Someone CAME IN THE ROOM.

And that was the End...

of our fun Honeymoon.

I'm serious - we had someone walk IN on us....and let's say ...the mood quickly changed. The hotel was really nice and gave us a new room but man - talk about bad timing.
