| An Update on Mom Sorry I haven't been on lately. After getting home from work and then leaving an hour later to go see mom, the internet ranks below sleep and playing with moose and lil bear. My mom starts her 3 week in the behavioral health center at Orange Park Medical. She has her good days and bad. The Drs decided the meds she was on are not working so they put her on a new med yesterday. My dad called me this morning and said that she had had a bad reaction to it and could not walk, the Dr called to let my dad know and say he was sorry. That is one good thing that has come out of this mom has a couple of good phycologist. We aren't too sure when mom will be released but it is agreed that until she is better this is the best thing. My dad and I are regulars at the hospital cafitaria (sp) for dinner. I found out that there is a support group for family members which we are going to be goin to and my dad bugged me to get an appt. for myself so I don't get into the shape I was in when I was first diagnosed with depression, OCD, panic attacks. My information gathering appt. is tonight.

| Thanks Villette. I'm going with the thought that "what doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger idea", but it is sometimes harder to believe than other times. I think Moose and I were meant to find each other last year, she has been little guardian. She has even tried to make Lil Bear feel better about missing mom. I have focused a lot to training Moose and making clothes for her and Lil Bear. Muffie's Mom has also been so good to me and has given me so much support and info and just an ear (rather eye) to write to Michelle

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hang in there. With my dad we finally got him to a geriatric psycologist (my dad's 86) and he found the right meds for him. It has been a year now and he is so much better and nearly his old self. He's on a combination of 3 meds. Before we got him to this docotr some of the meds would make him like a zombie and his legs would shake uncontrolably. I hope you get good news soon and take car of yourself. It's hard to do when caring for a sick parent but you have to make time for yourself. I will keep you all in my prayers.
