LOL i agree. tyra seems to be the kind of person that tells it how it is. if you put up a front with her, she'll totally call you out on it. i *love* that.

my radar must be faaaar off on this show. this week, i thought gina would definitely be kicked off, but instead it was kari instead.

both had horrendous photos this week, but at least kari had some kickass ones in previous shoots. gina's were all... vacant-looking.

well what was dumb about this weeks elimination is gina FLIPPED OUT on the runway and has been failing this whole time and a total space shot
i didnt think kari did well but still....

I saw the show once and that was enough. My impression: if those young women spent as much time and energy on intellectual pursuits, there would be several Nobel Prize winners amongst them. The contestants are pathetic, ignorant young girls who think they have nothing else to offer but their looks, and Tyra Banks is so self-important that you would think she is working on a cancer cure. This show sets women back 100 years.

nothing wrong with trying to pursue your dream career. a lot of these gals are actually in college and/or have already established themselves in their other careers - one that has already been eliminated has her MD. not everyone has the capacity to be "intellectual", some are better at athletics, performing arts, 'blue collar' jobs, etc. also, being a model/loving fashion and having "intellectual pursuits" are not mutually exclusive. personally, i am a scientist, but that does not mean i don't enjoy getting prettied up, flipping through vogue and spending some time at sephora.

I agree that Neena and Mollie are the ones that have the look and personality to make it in the world of modeling. Gina and Jade have neither. Yorkies are far more photogenic than either of them!
