| My brother dropped his phone in a puddle and three days later it dried out and worked again.

| LEAVE it off do not try and start it anymore.. take OUT the battery . Now if POSSIBLT do without it for awhile. It took 3 weeks of drying before mine worked that went through the washer . Sometimes you THINK it is dried out but it isn't . Some will come back to life if they TOTALLY dry out. if you can then give it a chance to dry COMPLETELY

| I dropped mine into the dog's water bowl...the same day I got it! Cingular doesn't cover water damage so I was very upset. I tried the blow dryer and the air stuff you use to clean keyboard..after taking the cell apart. Well, it still didn't work so I accepted the fact I would be purchasing a new phone. Well...my creative husband put the cell in the return air vent....I didn't know it and the next day he got it out and it worked! Thank goodness! No problems since. Good luck |

| My 14 year old spilled Gatorade on hers last week. It works to call out and receive calls but the screen doesn't work. She just got it in October for her birthday and I didn't get insurance on it. |

| Years ago my hubby was a paramedic/volunteer fireman and his radio would get wet all the time. He would just bring it home and put it in the oven. Don't turn the oven on, just let the pilot light dry it out. I can't count the number of times he would do this and it worked every time. |

| Don't feel bad... a couple summers ago I had the portable telephone out on the side of the pool. Would you believe that I dropped it in... not just once, but twice!!! No it didn't work after that and it was a very good phone with answering machine, etc. I was livid with myself! That was a very costly dumb mistake on my part.

| I washed my son's in the washing machine!! I took the back off and ran the blow dryer in it. Then I left it alone for awhile. (1 or 2 days) Take the battery out before you use the hair dryer! It should be OK!
