LEAVE it off do not try and start it anymore.. take OUT the battery . Now if POSSIBLT do without it for awhile. It took 3 weeks of drying before mine worked that went through the washer . Sometimes you THINK it is dried out but it isn't . Some will come back to life if they TOTALLY dry out. if you can then give it a chance to dry COMPLETELY
