| Oh my, I can totally relate I had my first kidney stone in 1999 when I was 18, and I had to have surgery to remove it because it was too big to pass. I was in the ER and hospital for 2weeks on and off. I feel so bad for you. Did they give you hydrocodone? That kind of helps depending on your pain. Just recently at 24 I had another. Painful, but also caused constant bleeding in my urine!!!! I was referred to a kidney specialist and they put me on potassium citrate. You might want to look into that since you are so young to be having these like me. I am what the doctors call a "stone former" so it doesn't matter what changes I make to my diet, I will always have an inbalance in PH levels causing the stones to form. Also, I always drink tons of water before I ever started this stone stuff. Just FYI, I hope you get to feeling better soon!!!!!! Jessica |

| Wow that sucks. Im so sorry. I'm 20 and I've had a kidney infection (it started as a bladder infection that later turned into a full blown kidney infection that ended me up in the ER) and it was THE WORST pain I've ever went through! But thank goodness i've never had to experience having kidney stones. Hope you get better soon!
