That's another thing that irks me....Men complaining because we complain that they don't do ANYTHING but whine, moan and play those stupid video games...see up top hes playing games on the computer......

Thank you so much for your imput, we do like to hear male responses. However....... You men complain that we watch "chic-flicks", "romance movies", etc etc.......But, how many times have I heard from other women that regardless of how you complain, half the time you sit there and moan about it, BUT WATCH IT WITH US!!!!!! Yeah, I'm right!!!!!!!! It's true!

Not doing the toilet-paper-roll-changing, and the drinking-from-the-carton-thing, is just two words: PIGGY-LAZINESS.

Men expect for us to just do this and do that, including up to going to get all lovey-dovey when the need hits.......like everyday of the week if it were left up the male specimens of the world. We women cannot downshift that fast. We need love, attention, and occassional compliments to let us know that we are needed, other than being your brood mare/laundry doing/dish washing/supper cooking/treating you like a 2 year old when your sick/making the bed daily, just overall CARING for you in general. What do we get in return? We get the "when's dinner, what are we having for dinner, where is this? where is that? Wanna go get "nekkid" (trying to keep it low-key), why didn't you do this? why didn't you do that"....Shall I go on? Naa, I think I covered most of my bases.........

Oh he would say without a doubt, that I'm WAY too Anal, everything in it's place, oraganized, everything planned, If I say I'm gonna do something I do it,, UNLIKE him!

Everyone that has a job I'm sure have been known to goof off here and there, so there's nothing wrong with that, to an extent.......
But, what is it with men and video games???? I don't get it. Mine plays too, and he's 38! I guess it's a second childhood or something......

My husband says its fun but the big thing is it's a stress reliever..yeah right!! It's just so they can sit in their little world while us women slave away to make their lives easier!!

High-Fiving Everyone in here!!! Right on! On a different note...... I got my Gabby about a month ago....... And he's carrying on that we didn't need her, he's not getting attached, etc etc etc etc........What a big dork.....He's attached to her already. Doesn't take care of her....never offers to fill her water bowls, give her treats, etc.....But will lay claim when someone goes on and on about how pretty she is, etc etc, then he's all about being her owner. *rolling eyes here* He's been calling her "Roger"......Have no idea why, other than I started yelling at him not to call her that, so he does it now just to aggravate me. Comes home from work and says "Hi Roger"..... There's not a Roger that either of us know, but he thinks it's funny. But see, I laughed the first time he said it, and he took my laugh, and ran with it. The first time, it's like ha-ha. Then you start getting mad, and they agg you on and the madder you get......

Can you relate here? They do the STUPIDEST things that they think are so hilarious, when you know they are being the biggest idiots.

Oh I know, from what I have learned his Ex-wife was messy, laundry piled high, etc,, so I mention that every now and then,,, Which would you prefer? He always picks my way.

Ewwwww, I have been in very close-friends of mine homes, that are without a doubt, screaming my name to come inside and clean. I cannot for the life of me understand how people can live like they run a garbage dump, but people do.......

I'm not a perfectionist by any means, but jeez, it sure is nice to go home to a nice, cleaned-up homey atmosphere!

Which, of course, I take complete 110% credit for maintaining! *L*

my boyfriends complaints would be

1-I don't let go of anything. If it tweaks a nerve I bring it up and up over and over agian.

2-I don't make enough home made meals. (I'm learning to cook and am doing a really good job at it.) so far he loves it.

3-He hardly ever see's me due to work circumstances.

4-when I'm sick, I don't like to be touched when all he does is want to help.

5- I don't clean up after myself (dishes and household wise) as much as I should. (I've been improving on this in my defense.)

6-I always wear my hair up.

7-I never know what to make for dinner.

8-My insecurities.

9-He hates my job.

10-I always try to kiss him or hug him when I say something I know will get on his nerves.

and last but not least. but by far the worst:

I question his motives.

I can relate with some of what you said.......

I feel bad now because it seems as though I'm bashing him, and I'm really not trying to sound that way! Here I post on how we met on the other thread, and I go on about things in this one! LOL

All in all, I love my husband dearly, I really do........He's my best friend in the world, and I wouldn't want to live without him, ever. (notice I didn't say "couldn't"...*L*) He just gets on my nerves a lot. But like someone else said in the other thread...."concentrate on the good points"..... *sigh*

I guess after 17 years together, one can blow steam about the other person on some points, right? Right!
