I'm a part time bank teller. I love my job, but sometimes customers get on my nerves, and t he ones that aren't customers too specially when they want to cash a check, they are not acct. holders and don't have any form of ID!!!Then they get upset and want to report you to your boss for doing your job!!  . Besides that I love my job. |

This is depressing! I'm still at the same job :( I was supposed to be in a fabulous new job closer to my parents by now! Whaaaaaaaaaaaa job searching is so exhausting and DEPRESSING! |
Hmmm I remember a thread like this before that I think I posted on, but oh well.... Right now I am a the 3-11p shift Supervisor of a residential program for Autistic and behavorially challenged kids, ages 6-21. The kids live there on campus. It's a hard job, most of these kids don't have parents and are the wards of the state. A lot of them don't have much clothing, so donating is a very big thing at my job. A lot of my staff "adopt" a child and provide as much as they can for that specific kid. I'm still in college though....(Temple University, go Owls!!!!). I'm studying Psychology and hope to be a Clinical Child Psychologist for Autistic children. I love my job!!! :D |
I graduated in a year ago (August 2005) from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and now I'm a paralegal. I don't like being at the bottom of the totum pole, so I'm in the process of applying to law school for next fall. Keep your fingers crossed for me! |
devoted to Lucy! I work as a loan assistant for a company that makes agricultural loans. I've been there 12 years and worked for a telephone company for 8 years prior to that. The telephone company was bought out by GTE and my office was shut down. Kim & Lucy:aimeeyork |
:animal37 I am an artist. I love to teach so this fall I will teach home school kids art one day a week... Home school kids are so thrilled to have art and they love what ever you do! I am excited to get started. I take art classes at the community college but I will be taking this term off to spend time with Chewy to make sure he has a great start with us. He is 4 months old and adorable!:artist: |
I just graduated as well from the University of Texas at Houston Dental Branch. I am now a registered Dental Hygienist!!!! So, everyone better be brushing their teeth and their yorkies' teeth:D |
I am a home mortgage consultant with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage so if anyone wants to purchase or refinance let me know. We are licensed in all 50 states. Sorry for that plug I just had the opportunity and took it:D |
I'm a first grade teacher! I love my job! I'm so excited for next Thursday to be here when I'll meet all my new kids. I'm so happy to be in a job where each day is different and new. However, this is so much to do in my job, especially in 1st grade. There is so much to prep, examples to make, lessons to plan, assessments to complete, plus all the other paperwork that is involved in this job... I hate when people say, "Oh you have such an easy job, you work from 9-3 and you have the summers off." I'm usually at work by 7 and I leave around 5 plus I bring a ton of stuff home. /rant :) |
I'm a student, in the process of transfering schools. I hope to become a buyer for a well-known company one day. As for jobs, I'm in between those right now. |

Hmmm, I thought that I posted in one like this before too! I am the Operations Manager for an Audio Visual Company that sells and installs Audio, Video and Lighting in churches across the country. I also have my own company Katy Bows. |
I believe, too, that we have covered this before. I have had several "careers", the latest being a "Documents Specialist" for gas/oil industry. Since coming to Colorado a couple of years ago, I have been in semi-retirement and stay home with Toto. Papa decided I needed to retire and stay home with Toto .... she is so needy!! :p I do keep my options open and have had a few offers, but as yet haven't had one attractive enough to get me out of the house!! ;) |

I am an AutoCad drafter for an engineering company that designs and fabricates pre-engineered steel buildings. Mainly schools, churches, airplane hangars, and whatnot...It's boring and I hate it but it pays decent, the benefits are good, and they help pay for some of my schooling.;) When I'm not at work I am raising a 7 yr old girl and a 3 year old boy and a 19 week old yorkie.:D I also go to college and am working on my degree to be an educator.:p I want to teach 4th-6th graders. |
I'm a word processor in a major law firm where I've been for almost 21 years now. I work the evening shift, which allowed me to be home with my kids when they were young. Now they're grown, and I can be home with my yorkie baby.:D |
I'm an application designer/computer programmer for a very large candy company and my wife is a veterinary technician. We are also breeders and boarders (only for puppies we have sold). And we have a small list of clients that we provide in (their) home care for their dogs/cats when they are away. Depending on their needs my wife makes one to five trips to their home to feed and care (including insulin shots, putting the dogs out, etc) for their pets. Finally we are parents to two teenage children, which as any parent will attest to, is a full time job in itself ;) |
I am a full time student majoring in Medical Techonology. (not that impressive) I want to be a med. tech, right now anyway. :p |
I also am an RN. My entire career in nursing has been in the field of the terminally ill...adults and kids. I have been a hospice nurse but now am in the hospital setting again as the Nurse Case Manager for hematology both adults and kids. Also in the graduate nursing program to become a clinical nurse specialist in the same field. |
I'm a student. I'm 17 and still in high school. It seems like I've switched schools quite a bit! The last few years I've been in an arts and academics magnet school, and I was an exchange student in France for a little bit. This coming year I'm doing this "Running Start" program where you go to a local college in place of high school. It's like you are attending high school (you must meet local high school requirements, and you graduate with your high school class), but in a different setting. You also gain college credits, so when it is time to attend a university, you have some of the pre-requisites taken care of. I'm looking forward to this exciting change, but I'm also a bit nervous! I'm hoping, in the future, to go to medical school to become a physician (I'm thinking a pediatrician), OR to become a business-woman and own my own business. OR work in PR. OR work in the marketing field. OR work in international affairs. Obviously, I still need time to think about it. :p |
i am a stay at home mom, I have been a foster mom for almost 20 years. :) |
I am a stay at home mother to 2 teenage sons and 1 teenage female!! |

I work for the U.S. Government at a defense contractor. I am a Systems Engineer and work mostly on architecture development, modeling and simulation, and working on scenarios to protect the U.S...especially the U.S. borders. I just moved back from Virginia to NJ and I was working Homeland Defense & Security...it was pretty neat down there. |
I am an R.N. I work 32 hours (soon to be 40) per week for an insurance company as a medical malpractice claims representative. In my spare time, I run my own nurse consulting business. I don't have time for a social life. Gracie's new red T-shirt says, "Mommy's Single". |
I'm an Hairstylist!!! I came to USA over 4 years ago, and worked as an Au Pair for a Year( It was the easiest job EVER), and then I became an assistant to a great hairstylist in northern VA. Now I'm very close to get my cosmetology license, and I just love to make people look and feel beautiful. |
I'm also a full time student at a local community college. My major isn't declared but I'm pretty set on broadcast journalism. I also have been working at a real estate/ mortgage law firm obtaining licenses for mortgage companies. Tuesday was my last day.. I hope to go to law school in a few years and get my JD. |
