I USED to work at a Flight School - and then married 5 years ago and helped my husband with his business....and NOW I am a Non Paid Yorkie Yakker ...but things may be changing this year and hopefully - I'll be back to work soon !

I am a secretary for the California Federation of Teachers (a teacher's union). I love what I do, I enjoy doing administrative work, I like to be the one behind the scenes and basically just running the office. I have always had respect for teachers and I even thought I wanted to be one at one point, so it's nice to be able to represent them

I'm currently a legal assistant and have been for five years now. I've however, made a decision to get out of the legal field because I've found that its no longer where my interest is and I'm no longer enjoying my work. I did A LOT of thinking about various fields and different types of jobs that I can do. Well, because I'm still young enough and don't really have any financial burden, I decided to quit my job and train to become a professional make up/special effects artist. I want to work on movies, tv, print, modeling, etc. I'm really excited about it and hope hope hope that it'll work out! That way I won't have to sit in an office from 9-5 every day and have a different schedule all the time!

Well lets see i am a SAHM and Photogrpher. I am debating going back to school to become a RN or i may start my own biz...not to sure yet have o do more research on the biz thing first.

Before moving 5 years ago I was a deli/catering manager. I loved
interacting with the people as well as the flexibility of it. Since
moving I have been a stay at home Mom due to transportation
issues with the school situation. I am currently looking into taking
some classes so that when my daughter goes to high school in
2 years I can re enter the working world doing something that I
enjoy. I am 43 and I sure wish I could figure out what I want to
be when I grow up!

Psychologist...

but have taken time of to spend with my 6yr old Daughter......she needs me more.....& Scamp & Minnie love me being a stay @ home Mommy for now

Looks like we have a large group of RN's here. I'm an RN, CWOCN this means I work in a specialty. I do patient evaluations, patient and staff teaching and occasionally will lecture at a local college. Just love my job and I'm not looking forward to retiring any time soon (my husband has just retired).

Hey cool I have the exact same job! Exciting, isn't it?

But I get great insurance and I get to wear jeans all summer AND the one perk is that I get to order everything - which I try to think of as SHOPPING! I got my degree in Business/MIS (Info systems) and then with the tech bubble burst I couldn't find a job in that field. Kinda a bummer. I'm good at the financial stuff but that doesn't take up much of my day...
