I am making chicken parmesan |
I think I'm getting Mc Donalds for dinner but I Made spaghetti last night. |
Leftovers.....not much help, huh? |
I am making country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn. I am like you I cook the same things over and over and over!!! I get tired of it and I know my husband does too but he keeps his mouth shut about things like that!!!! |

Your husbands probably thrilled to have a dinner like that,, men love meat and potatoes. |
A very simple casserole, but my picky eaters actually eat it. elbow noodles browned hamburger meat jar of spaghetti sauce shredded cheese Brown the meat, boil the noodles, heat the sauce, mix together, top with cheese. Making garlic cheese bread. So easy and yummy :) |
I am making eggplant parmisan with mozerella chees baked in the dish, never would have tried it before I met my husband!! It's really good kinda like lasagna but way better!! But it has to baked not breaded pieces like Olive garden has!! |

A super easy potato receipe that we really like....take red potatoes and cut them into chunks (no peeling), place in pan. Use as many potatoes as you need and adjust the pan size accordingly. Then pour olive oil over them, puts about 1 inch in the bottom of the pan, sprinkle with the original Mrs. Dash. Bake at 350 30 to 45 minutes til done. They are good! I've used regular potatoes too, but the red's the best. Easy chicken. Can be made with skinless chicken but chicken with skin is better. Rinse the chicken, do not dry, take 1 cup paramasian (sp?) cheese and 1/2 cup bread crumbs. Mix the cheese and crumbs together. Bread the chicken with it and place in pan. Bake 350 about 30 minutes or til chicken's done You can adjust the amount of cheese to how much chicken you're cooking....just 1/2 the bread crumbs to this amount. This is dd's favorite And if you haven't tried the Banquet Slow Cooker meals, get the chicken and dumplings one. That's really good too. |
Herb bake Chicken, Sugar snapped peas, and carrots, and Garlic butter wild brown rice....Grape Jello w/ mandarin oranges. |

Chicken fried portabello mushrooms. I dip the large round flat portabello mushrooms (I take off any stem) in egg/milk and then flour and brown them on both sides in just a bit of oil. Then I put them in a covered pan or corning dish and into the oven at 300 degrees for an hour or so to steam and get real tender. We are also having fresh steamed yellow squash and turnips. My mom is baking apples with a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon. Mmmmm, I'm hungry |
Slow Cooker I use the slow cooker quite often. We have beef roast with carrots and either add the potatoes to the slow cooker with onion or make mash potatoes and gravy. Another favorite is slow cooker beef stew. My Grandson, who lived with us, loved spaghetti with hamburger spaghetti sauce and garlic bread as a side. :animal36 |
Leftover speghetti. We never seem to finish our leftovers, so I'm forcing it down our throats. Before that My boyfriend made lasagna. Stouffers....(yeah we cheated it was frozen!) But it was sooooo good. I like making mushrooms in garlic sauce, with baked potatoes and grilled shrimp. |
We had meatloaf mashed taters and corn |
One of my favorite things I make (and haven't made in forever...gotta get on that) is steamed Chilean seabass and chinese vegetables drizzled with teryaki sauce and toasted sesame seeds served over wasabi mashed potatoes. If you like asian food, this is TO DIE FOR!! It's so easy to make and soooooo good to eat. Wow, I'm hungry now. |
Dang, y'all made me sooooo hungry!! I am having soy burgers for dinner!! OK, it sounds gross, but they are actually yummy! BUT if you don't want that, here are recipes from your very own YT Healthy Eating Club! There's some GOOD ONES in here, people!!! :D http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...hlight=recipes |
I took some sinus medi that has knocked me on my rear. So, I felt it's not safe to be around a hot stove under the influence, LOL. :p My hubby went and got pizza, salad, wine, and Rocky Road ice cream. :) |
Oh that all sounds so good, especially the country fried steak. Yummy!! However, I'm on the Nort Bi*#% diet (South Beach diet). You still get to eat some good stuff, but I miss my carbs. |
Well we are having burnt something. I think it was a beef roast when I put it in, but it came out black again. So waiting for the Pizza man again. I really do need to learn how to cook. |
haha! i am embarassed to say what I had :zip: |
I fed my son chicken fingers tonight but right now Big Daddy and I are going to have a late dinner. I'm making steak with blue cheese melted on top over arugula with asparagus and a balsamic vinegar reduction sauce. It's sooooo yummy and we'll crack a bottle of wine too. Really easy to make. |
