Hey, I didn't say "someone" to cook it!! And preferably have it on the table when I GET home. :D |
Ohhh how I wish I had stumbled upon this thread earlier. So many ideas for dinner. When I work it is always either chicken or pork chops on the groll, some type of potato or rice and green beans...hubbys mainstay. But at least I have a hot meal after a long day at work. When he is working (my days off-we work opposites) I always try to do something different so we all don't grow feathers and beaks!! Tonight it is spaghetti, salad and garlic/cheese bread. Homemade 7 layer chocolate cake for dessert! |
~Yesterday i made steak roles (inside was green onion and red peppers) with a reduced balsalmic glaze, sauted baby red potatoes with parsley and a spinich salad. ~Tonight is stuffed chicken breasts(stuffed with chopped portabellas, parmesan, spinich, italian bread crumbs and seasoning) then lightly sauted then baked, sauted asaparagus and baby portabellas seasoned with red pepper flakes, and a mixed greens salad with advacodo ~Tomarrow my mother in law will be here  so I will have to make 3 courses- non traditional Potato soup-but a really great recipe that uses red potatoes either a salmon with a horseraddish rub or grilled salmon with a balsalmic glaze and a spinich salad with roma tomatoes, advacado, and lime juice-EVOO and vinegar dressing and pecan pie(her favorite pie) ~Friday, Sat, & Sun we always go out for dinner or get take out so I am sure we will go out (b/c of the Mother in law) probably to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and Joe's Stone Crab in South Beach and probably Benihana too! yeah as well Sunday Brunch at Council Oak or South Beach-Lincoln Road I love it when we have company!! yeah i get to go to all my favorite restaraunts!!!! |
We're having Cheesy Enchilada Chicken Helper. :( |
Tonight is blackened Salmon, asparagus, and angel hair pasta sauteed in olive oil and garlic. Wish I had salad stuff to make a salad but we don't. I really need to go grocery shopping, ugh. :) |
Tonight I'm making chicken with spinach and ricotta filling..lighly sear the chicken then roll with the sauce in the middle and in the oven for 1/2 hour at 350. Served with a nice little side of risotto and sauteed tomatoes. Yum...I have to run in about 5 minutes to start pounding that chicken out :D |
