| I’ve seen numerous places with a mask required and people still not wearing one. My gut feeling is all these non Masks wearing People are going to have to experience it first hand to finally start wearing one. Just a week or so back some dumb college kids had a coronavirus party. You really can’t fix stupid! |

| Our county in Florida has had a mask rule since April, but took out penalties and enforcement immediately due to public backlash. This last Monday the County Commissioners decided to mandate the mask compliance more stringently by issuing a one-time warning, then a fine ($25, then $50 for multiple infractions). There were call-in speakers at the virtual meeting stating that they would not comply, and berating the rule for "taking away their constitutional rights". It is disappointing to witness!

| We went thru this during the 1918 Spanish flu. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

| Thank God we have television, phone and internet, food, mail service and know about mask-wearing, have gloves and handwashing techniques, enough soap, disinfectant. Can you imagine dealing with all of this prior to these things!!!!!!!!! Just the fact that I can press a button and invite the world, entertainment into my house and order a pizza delivered to my very door by a masked, gloved, incredibly nice person really helps. What good are fines and tickets to young, rebellious people who ignore them, don't intend to pay them and love taking the risk of driving around w/unpaid fines, etc., as a way of thumbing their nose at authority? Never did get why authority figures are so intimidating and horrid to so many but anyway.... Would break our system if we tried to process each of them for non-payment of a $50.00 or even $1500 in individual fines. Captainizing is right, younger, more rebellious among us will have to deal with this disease personally before it knocks some compliance into them. They are actually proud of going out w/out mask or gloves. Ah, well, hopefully, the rest of us, first responders, treatment facilities and economy are strong enough to get past them w/out too much damage. If ONLY everyone would've complied, we could have way, way fewer cases of this thing by now.

| So today I had to run a few errands and dashed in and out of several stores, sorta a grab and go. The 5 stores I dashed into there was one person in each store without a mask and, they have signs on the doors before you go in you must wear mask. Not one person that worked in these stores said anything to them and two were pharmacy's, needless to say they were college age ppl. When I got to each register I told the cashier they should have refused their purchase and told to put a mask on, what do I get? a shrug of the shoulders. What's the sense of posting signs if the stores do nothing about it.

It is frustrating for sure. But I think the managers should be doing the monitoring not the front line workers at Kroger, etc.

| I did go to my local Dollar General store and they wouldn’t let anyone in without a mask. It’s the only place I’ve been to in my small town. I will make sure to shop there for everything I can |

| Don't even get me started on masks. I don't go out much, only when it's an absolutely must. My area is a big tourist town, you see license plates from all states. The bigger chain stores always have a lot of ppl in them, they say nothing if a person has no mask. The small privately owned shoppes that stands to lose money will not let you enter without a mask. Masks must be worn in any indoor spaces and any outdoor spaces where people are unable to follow social distancing. Law enforcement officers are authorized to issue warnings or citations. This is a law, thing is, my town is not a major city where there are foot patrol officers, state troupers are called when you dial 911, so there is no control in my county.
