I talked to Pricilla's BF last night. He said that she is doing worse than she was before :unlove: high blood pressure, breathing tubes etc. they tried having her drink on her own and it started a downward trend from what I understand.

She still needs lots of love and support! Thank you all!

Thank you for the update. Poor girl, she sounds very sick. Did not know that human pancreatitis was so difficult to control and treat. I know that dogs get very sick but with good vet treatment they usually respond well.

High BP and breathing tubes! This is very distressing. Pancreatatis in humans can be fatal. Many prayers going out to Priss.

Oh my gosh...I don't like seeing this :(. Poor Priscilla! I will keep her close in my thoughts. HUGS to Priscilla! Please get well very, very soon!

Oh my God, I was just watching videos of Uni that Priscilla posted on youtube a week or two ago. I hope you're doing better Captain, scary to read when a friend is in the hospital.

Omg I can't believe she's so sick. I knew pancriatitis was serious, but not breathing tube serious.

Thanks Sally. And no, sadly, she is almost as far away from me as she could physically get and still be in the contiguous USA - closer than when she lived in California tho.

BF said they are starting a feeding tube tomorrow to bypass the pancreas. She is wearing blood pump on her legs to stave off blood clots. So scary.

It never ceases to stun and amaze me...we are up, shucking and jiving one minute and the next, we can be flat on our back, in a hospital ICU, deathly ill. Please tell her we are thinking about her and praying for her....

My prayers continue for Priscilla. This just makes me so very sad for all that she is going through. I pray she she starts feeling better soon.

That is scary to read. Are her doctors confident they're getting this under control? I'm so worried reading these updates, Priscilla is one of the most interesting people to talk to here. Plus I copied a lot of Uni's tricks with Cookie!

Very scary! :( Will Priscilla's family be able to travel to Vegas?

I agree all this news is very scary and I worry if she is in a specialist hospital that is used to this disease? The fact that she did not see a doctor for a few days seems unbelievable with such a sick patient. Is this how modern medicine works? Poor girl, I do so feel for her, she must be most uncomfortable and distressed by what is happening to her. Hoping all our thoughts and prayers are heard and that she is made well again very soon. It is amazing that one day she was here posting and now she is in ICU very sick!

It appears Priscilla is worse today than my last update :(

Will post details this evening when I have time to properly relay them. BF said their families are on their way to the hospital. :hands:

Praying for a miracle. This is just so unbelievable for someone so young and vibrant to be suddenly so sick.

Thank for the update. OMG, what a terrible report of her status that she is getting worse. It is so hard to imagine how she could go down so fast.
Praying so hard for you dear girl. So sorry you are going through this.
Can't believe this is happening. I do feel for her, her BF, and her family.

So scary to hear Priscilla isn't improving yet. I am praying for her and also for her doctors to get a good course of treatment for her.

They are doing daily CT scans to monitor changes in her body. Yesterday's scan revealed fluid in her lungs. Her organs are so swollen than she looks 6 months pregnant- her normal weight is about 115 so this is highly abnormal.

BF says she tries really hard to talk to him and can't. Tries to move her hand and tears slide down her cheek :unlove: she was trying to get out of bed to go home before the intubation tubes went in, so they had to tie her down. Poor girl is really going through it. Her mother is there with her now.

Ps - he may be following this thread. Liam needs support too! :love: :love:

Liam, I just went and said a prayer for Priscilla. We're all sending virtual hugs to her and to you too.

Priscilla, you're my favorite person on yorkietalk and I know you're going to kick the hell out this thing!
