Last night was really an unbelievable amount of great singers! Maybe it just me but I think the Voice has surpassed Idol as far as talent is concerned. Looking forward to tonight!!

I totally agree. Although I have not watched Idol enough to really see anyone stand out. But wow, The Voice, it is more like watching a concert of very experienced artists. The Steals keep it fun and interesting.

I am blown away at how some of the pairs perform so amazingly as duets. They all seemed so evenly matched, I can't see how coaches could pick a winner, based on the performance alone. I guess it helps that the coaches have had a lot of time working with the artists and can judge additionally by what goes on behind the scene, as far as personality and ability.

I did post this morning about how fabulous they were last night and picked a couple that I though were super great.

Can't wait for tonight.

However 'India' what a voice and if they end up at the end against each other, I will not watch and turn it on in the morning to see who won.

Although third on my list 'Clinton Washington' was magnificent last night.

We are all going to have different opinions, it will be interesting to see yours.

Anthony is so good maybe better than Washington.

Earth Angel, I hope you remember that you were the one that first mentioned American Idol on this 'The Voice' thread and how good it was, not me. You didn't start a thread though.

I need a break and am leaving my choice for the end as how I quoted here. They are probably all wrong and that's ok. They are who I like and would want to win...just that.

This thread is so boring, seems not a soul is willing to even mention who they like on one evening and even when I say, it will be fun to hear other opinions??

Sawyer!!! I said it earlier and I still think he's my favorite. Next would be Cody...I think that's his name, country singer, wears a hat...
Joan, sorry you think we're boring. I "voice" my opinion of The Voice and it's contestants. What can I say, I guess I like the performers with a natural talent, not schooled or already performers. I love the little "Loretta Lynn" wanna be too, is her name Katie? She sang "Fancy" in the battle round. I really wish there was a "rock" singer that I could say I love...but nope, not this year!

Kathy, I have so many favorites, I haven't picked a specific one yet. Just too many great singers there. Sawyer is definitely one that stands out. Can't wait for next week!

I can't wait until we get to start voting...I wish I had kept notes from the beginning. Right now I don't even know all their names, I know their faces though!

Oh my gosh, that little Mia Z was awesome tonight...dang, she's such a natural. Sawyer's coming up, my favorite...love that kid. Exciting!!!

Looking at the artists by team The Voice Artist Contestants & Teams: Season 8 - NBC.com

I like India (Christina's team), Meghan (Blake's), Catlin and Sawyer (Phrarrell's) and I don't have a fav on Adam's team.

Can't wait for tonight.

Sorry Sandy for talking about the show before you've seen it...hope I didn't spoil it for you. I think Pharrell has an awesome team this year. I'm really pulling for a couple of them...

KAthy don't worry about it, I enjoy hearing what everybody has to say even before I see it. The only time I avoid "spoilers" is on results night in the finals; and then it is up to me to avoid threads and sites that announce winners before I see it.

Loved last night! I think Pharell has a great shot of winning with Sawyer. Can't wait for tonight to see who all are left. I believe this is one of the most talented seasons for the Voice.

It's hard for me to make a choice yet...but I do like Sawyer and a couple of others(I'm terrible remembering names). However, I LOVE Blake but Im hoping Pharrel wins this year.
