I totally agree. Although I have not watched Idol enough to really see anyone stand out. But wow, The Voice, it is more like watching a concert of very experienced artists. The Steals keep it fun and interesting.
I am blown away at how some of the pairs perform so amazingly as duets. They all seemed so evenly matched, I can't see how coaches could pick a winner, based on the performance alone. I guess it helps that the coaches have had a lot of time working with the artists and can judge additionally by what goes on behind the scene, as far as personality and ability.
