| Couldn't agree more, Jodi. There is just no credible science from those who are currently working with Ebola cases who can justify quarantining anyone who isn't showing any symptoms whatsoever. I just don't get where the rabid fear of her is coming from, particularly when not one of those grinding on Kaci are just as fearful of Dr. Fauci or any other American workers who are around very sick Ebola patients spewing bodily fluids while carrying very high viral loads in their bodies. None of our other American Ebola medical teams have quarantined either and they didn't infect anyone. Dr. Spencer was out running around NYC - so are those Bellevue doctors and nurses. So were the NIH and Emory doctors and nurses caring for Nina Pham and Amber Vinson. No one is trashing them on Facebook and Twitter that I know of. I can't explain why all the focus is centered on that one Maine nurse when others are evading quarantines even as we speak and have been ever since American workers have been returning from West Africa all during this and other epidemics.

| The only person who died, poor Mr. Duncan was in contact with several people before he died and was NOT a threat, how do we know this? Because none of his family members, close friends, plane partners or even the Emergency Room personnel or patients from the first visit got Ebola, the only people who got Ebola were the personnel who had direct contact with him when he was most contagious and weren't properly addressing his needs or their own. period. (insert here - their incubation period is now over, they survived.....) I don't know how anyone thinks a nurse riding around on a bike (with a regulation helmet, I might add) is going to spread Ebola, it doesn't stand to reason. This isn't West Africa, there is treatment and the cure is treatment, here in this modernized country. The only way to prevent yourself from getting Ebola (unless your traveling to West Africa) is by making sure you stay away from people with explosive diarrhea, vomiting especially if there appears to be any blood....I'm kinda thinking you all would do that anyway????

| And, somebody, please, tell me why folks don't think Dr. Fauci, NIH, Emory U Hospital. or Bellevue Ebola doctors and nurses, the latter which are working on Dr. Spencer RIGHT THIS MINUTE but are out and about after their shifts, are not being pig-headed, careless and selfish because they are out living their lives? Does anybody understand why THEY aren't getting ANY heat at all? Some of the hate and fear directed toward Hickox reminds me in some ways of how despicably young Ryan White was treated when he was sick with AIDS - except Hickox isn't sick. It seems to me the wealthy, well-fed FDR was playing fast and loose with America when he said "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself" back in the days of the Great Depression and impending World War war, as hundreds of thousands had to fear deprivation, days of hunger for them and their children, no jobs, no place to live, no medical care, hopelessness and big trouble looming in Europe that most knew would certainly hit us in the gut one day. But it sure seems to apply here and now with Ebola and Hickox and others who have been around Ebola patients who were contagious but aren't contagious themselves. Still, the fear is overpowering to so many.

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | It's not about her having or not having the Ebola it's about public perception. It's about her not following an court order for just one more day. If she had, it would have given people confidence, this woman is doing what's right and if she has any type of symptom in the future, she'll do the responsible thing. But no, she has to act defiant and it was like, "Damn you, you aren't going to tell me what to do. I'm taking a bike ride, I'll show you." Real mature. This makes people scared and they feel like she's not responsible and she might even hide symptoms or do something esle stupid in the future to put others at risk. It's about reassuring the public that the workers volunteering in Africa are reasonable and prudent people and will do the right thing. She took a bad situation and made it worse and caused even more panic because now people feel like some people could have it, but won't obey court orders to stay confined to their homes. Perhaps she not spreading Ebola, but she's spreading panic and an uneasy feeling that we have no control, and in my opinion, that's almost as bad. I also think people might overreact and want everyone coming back from Africa quarantined.

| How can she be so compassionate to go to Africa to help sick people, yet so defiant and uncaring about her fellow Americans by refusing to follow protocol to be evaluated because she had a fever upon return to U.S.? Her defiant, self centered, ME ME ME attitude is disgusting. She is not a team player, and not someone I would associate with, or work with, not because of ebola.... because of her attitude. If I thought there was even a remote chance I could have something contagious I would gladly take every possible precaution to not take a chance on spreading it, or spreading fear to others.

Even if she did spill all 6 quarts of her blood into your broken skin and mucus membranes, Nancy, you won't get Ebola from her as she's not sick with or dead from it and is not contagious to you or anybody until she is sick and spreading fluids with a high viral load or dead due to Ebola Virus Disease. And should she begin running fever today, she's not capable of infecting anyone until she's titering a high viral load that somehow gets into another's body, though high viral loads don't occur until the patient is gravely ill and having copious vomiting, diarrhea or bleeding.

| I am anxiously awaiting to hear what our new governor is going to do to address this issue and how Texas will be dealing with the whole ebola issue. |
