My house smells flipping amazing right now. Cooking my famous pot roast and I always start it early (season and prepare the veggies, lightly brown the roast, and let it marinade for a couple of hours). I haven't even started it in the oven and my house smells awesome. Best part is, I'm no cook. My husband co-owns a restaurant, so he's the foodie, but I'm super proud of my pot roast. Lol.

Time consuming with all the chopping of veggies and such, but relatively easy if you find a good recipe. I always find decent base recipes and then experiment to make it "my own".

Wish I could! I love cooking for people that appreciate it. I'm not a bad cook, just get in a rut when you have three kids in the pizza, hot dogs, and chicken nuggets phase

I have to laugh about the "appreciative audience." When we had all three at home, I often said that my husband and son would eat anything and the girls would eat nothing. Therefore, no advantage to spending time in the kitchen. Wouldn't mind the pot road though!
