Yeah, I'm pissed. I contacted Air O Swiss. Still waiting for a reply. Supposedly they have good customer service. We'll see. I was searching online, but no one seems to have my problem. Mostly people have a tank leakage issue, but that was with the older model with a plastic screen holder thing. Mine is the newer one with the stainless steel one.

My throat is so dry when I sleep without the humidifier and I don't even turn on the heat at night. I like to sleep in a cold room. And my other one is too big and loud for sleeping. The Air O Swiss is virtually silent.

Well they are going to warranty it. I'm sending it back tomorrow but they said it could take up to 10 business days for them to send me a new one. I'm really needing it too these days. Probably won't see it until sometime in Jan.

I still don't have a working humidifier from Air O Swiss. They sent me a replacement that had the exact same issue of my original one! I emailed back their Customer Service rep and at first got the run around, and now am getting NO response! I filed a complaint with the BBB. I'm pissed. I needed this humidifier all winter and now winter is almost over!

I also searched online for someone with the same problem with my model, the 7147, and no one had the same issue with the from panel not lighting up. I wonder if they just cleaned my unit and slapped a new serial number on it and sent it back.

Also they made me pay for shipping to send the unit back to them. Then they want me to pay for shipping again to ship them back the unit that they sent me that doesn't work in the first place.

Guess you all have noticed - there is no such thing as customer service anymore! You take what they give you or go without, no consideration! But yet they expect and want us to keep,them in business by purchasing their product! Go figure

It actually worked great, so I can't fault it there. BUT, it was an ultrasonic and they're notorious for leaving behind a fine white dusting on things unless you use bottled water. So I returned it. If I got another one, I'd get one w/ a filter like this one:

The Air O Swiss was also an ultrasonic. But I didn't notice too much white powder anywhere. But it could be that we still have carpet in the bedroom so I didn't see the powder? The other big ugly one I have works, but the lowest setting is still very loud and I can't sleep to that. The AOS was virtually silent.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the BBB.
