It will be interesting to see where Littlefinger ends up in the end.

I wonder if Varys can out-Littlefinger the Littlefinger...?

I haven't heard that anywhere yet. Last I read, multiple locations, 13 more episodes spread out over the next two years and possibly starting next season AFTER April, so later than the years in the past.

Before the big ball of green flame, I was wondering how they could cover all of the story lines remaining in only 13 more episodes.... POOF! LOL All of those people, all of those story lines gone, in a blink of an eye! LOL Brilliantly done I'll add.

So really only 4 major groups, and a couple of minor, left. Mother of Dragons and her allies, Lannisters and their entourage, King of the North and their allies, and finally, the White Walkers make up the 4 majors that I see. There's the Brotherhood, witch and Hound,, the other half of the Iron Born.. and a couple stragglers Gendry? and the meister in the making... but he'll tie back in with Jon.. and so will Bran?... he'll make it to Winterfell.

Is Mother of Dragons headed straight to King's Landing?

I read somewhere that Sam may be unwittingly holding some sort of key, an item, that can stop the dragons. Uh oh! Perhaps there is something to the family sword he took from his family home? So his trip to the Citadel to become a maester may be only part of his story.

I don't really understand the Bran storyline. If he is the 3-eyed raven, doesn't he need to be permanently tied up in the roots of the tree like the previous one?

I'm also a little cloudy on the White Walkers. Can they go south of the wall?

At the end of that last episode, MOD or someone around her went through where they were headed.... I couldn't really make out if they were headed straight to Kings Landing or somewhere else in Westeros.

If Sam has a valyrian steel sword, it can kill white walkers: Dragonglass is a common name in Westeros for the substance known as obsidian, a form of volcanic glass. Along with Valyrian steel, it is one of the two known substances capable of killing White Walkers. It is the paramount tool-stone and major implement of the magic of the Children of the Forest, responsible for, amongst other things, transforming men into White Walkers, first performed during the Dawn Age.

I didn't see anything about Sam having something to fight dragons... I don't see Jon and his crew fighting MOD, I also don't see Jon marrying his aunt(MOD).

Bran... remember... Westerfell has one of those trees at the springs, hot springs.... it's not all hollowed out, but has that odd look to it. Somehow, I think Bran will provide intel about when and where the white walkers can be met and beat by the humans. Just a possibility... but... he's got to be useful for something. Another thought is warging with the dragons... but Dani seems to have that covered... so that, Bran directing the dragons, isn't likely IMO.

They came south of the wall before, before the wall was built, The wall was built to keep them in but it is in disrepair and neglected now... it's been so long some people don't even believe in the white walker legends, maybe even most people in Westeros. The walkers have collected an army of dead, it took an immense amount of time to rebuild their numbers, of the dead and the white walkers.... wasn't that many people north of the wall to be turned into white walkers or to become part of the dead army. Now, there is nearly NO people north of the wall... the wildlings all came south or, they already got killed...

the walker army is ready to move at any time... MOD's army is on the move... Kings landing has their army back... Jon has his army... It's really ALL set up except Jon doesn't have all of the weapons he needs to fight the walkers yet. Sam will make it back north with his father's sword... I don't know that he'll be able to use it though, he's a dagger guy... Maybe the Hound will use Sam's sword and the Brotherhood will jump in and help Jon at the bequest or direction of the Red Witch.. LOL IDK! LOL

Yes - I am SO ready for MOD to take down Cersei!

Other than whatever he used to kill that one White Walker (Valyrian sword/dagger or dragon glass dagger) -- the only other "thing" they made a big deal of showing was the little white thimble that was had belonged to Sam's Mom - she gave it to him the night before he left for the Wall. He then gave to it to Gilly in the scene when the Crows first left Craster's Keep...to show his feelings for her, and to let her know he'd be back for her.

I too am confused as to why that one guy had to be tied to the roots, but not Bran...is there some difference btwn them...?

This was just a theory I read in another forum. If I recall correctly, the theory was based on a clue in the books that this is possible. The possible dragon-neutralizer item is something that hasn't been hinted at in the show.

I agree, no marriage between those two, Jon and MOD. I think Daanerys will take the iron throne and Jon will be lord of Winterfell and warden of the North like Ned.

I forgot that the wall was built to keep the White Walkers out. Maybe I was thinking like a Westerosi for a moment and not believing they existed anymore, haha. But, can the army of the dead go south? Remember Uncle Benjen said he can't go south of the wall? The Children made him something with the dragon glass, not White Walker and not undead, but ???

Haha! Maybe! I felt sorry for the Hound when the little religious commune he had joined was slaughtered. Poor guy was trying to live peacefully. Will he still be on Arya's kill list?

You're right, the walkers and dead need to overcome some magic at the wall before heading south.

Bran just needs to be able to touch a heart tree.. a weirwood with a face carved into it to enter his vision of the past... as they escaped the one underground tree area, he remained in the past, unconscious, while that gal carried him out, he was also in the present some how controlling Hodor... that's what messed Hodor up for life... it attached the young Hodor of the past with the old Hodor of his future until the moment he died. "Hold the door" ... "Hodor" Bran entered the past again at the heart tree near the wall to see shortly after Jon was born.
