| For you with children I need your help. My son and his girl friend have prom this year. His GF don't like corsages. Have any of you used anything in place of a corsage??? I have found a bracelet but I don't want her to be the only girl there without a corsage or something! Any ideas?? Do you have any ideas??

| Oh lord thats a tough one. I say the bracelet would be fine and if she doesn't like a corsage it probably won't make her feel out of place not having one.

| I don't like corsages. I didn't have one for either prom and a lot of girls didn't have one too. This was 6-7 years ago, one prom was in MD and the other was in NJ. If you're that concerned you could buy her a bracelet style one incase she changes her mind. They were like $20-30 when I looked at them. |

| how about a small nosegay type of bouquet, this way she can hold in photos if she likes or she can just leave it at the table. You could have ribbons on it that match her dress.

| The florists recommended that as well. I didn't know if that would be a pain to keep up with. But maybe could do the bracelet and this as well.

I got a bracelet style corsage for the girl my son walked in homecoming. That was what I was looking at when she said she didn't like corsages. So I don't know.

| Ahhhhhhhhhh! The Good Old Days!!!!!! Things were soooooooo much simplier then! We would have absolutely DIED before showing up at prom without a gorgeous corsage pinned to our chest! Is it flowers she has an aversion to? Maybe a pretty, small, dainty baby rose corsage like something that she can pin in her hair........? |

The only time it'll really matter is when you take pre prom group pictures. I think most of the girls ended up leaving the wrist corsages on the table. My aversion to them is I think they're ugly, itchy, awkward to wear, and over priced. | |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I too was thinking small to pin in her hair of better yet, a necklace with a "flower" charm. Or if she has a charm bracelet one for that.

| How about one long stem rose or carnation she could use for pictures or carry if she wanted to. Even a silk one might be a nice memento.
