Stop worrying, she said she doesn't want it, so it's her problem if the other girls do.
The only time it'll really matter is when you take pre prom group pictures. I think most of the girls ended up leaving the wrist corsages on the table.
My aversion to them is I think they're ugly, itchy, awkward to wear, and over priced.
