| Anyone sell or buy on Etsy? If you sell, how are your sales and/or views? I've been selling about a year and a half and I've done better than I thought I would, but I'd like to have more sales. I feel like my problem is the photos. I just found out about a website that promotes an item for free and they pin it on pinterest. I immediately got a bunch of views but I'm not sure how well that will go. Storewoot - Promote Your Etsy Store on Pinterest - Increase Etsy Sales - Etsy Seller Tools - Increase Etsy Store - Sell More Etsy My shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/CaseyElswick?ref=si_shop Let me know what you guys think! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have an Etsy store where I sell my art. I don't think your pictures are bad at all. There are a few that are a little dark - can you lighten them afterwards via photoshop or whatever editing program you're using? Otherwise, I'd use better lighting if possible. And the other thing I noticed was the flash glare on the few pics that were taken on a table. If you can get a lighting set up where you don't have to use your flash, that's ideal. Congrats on your success!

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Love your hats so very cute ! I don't have an etsy shop yet, I have one set up but holding off until I am really sure that it is something I want to do. I do have a face book page thou. Your pics are nice, they show your work really well and yes there are a few that are too dark. You can lighten them using Picmonkey. The only thing is that I would suggest displaying all of your item on the same background. That's just me thou, Im OCD and I like an uniform look. Also you could maybe have a couple photos of the hats being worn to show how they fit. I have heard that pinterest does wonders for getting small business known. It makes it easier to repost links to the general public that wouldn't otherwise be known.

| I didn't have a lot of luck with etsy, except for people copying my items and one even used my photos as her own-etsy did nothing about it, even thoigh I had proof the photo and the quilt were mine. I'm not paying someone to let others copy my stuff and steal my pictures-I can do that for free.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I don't sell a ton bc I'm a painter and I'm selling my paintings/art -- so that's a real luxury item to sell or buy. So, my sales aren't frequent as, say, stuff that sells for $30 or under.
