Hi all! Well, I have an update on our dilemma. Roxy (the first girl we looked at before adopting our newest addition, Pinky) was adopted yesterday! While I am sad that I wasn't able to be her mom, I am so happy that she found her forever home and she was adopted! I guess that solves that!

I also am concerned with the financial issues you will be facing. I am dealing with a 10 year old yorkie baby that has numerous health problems. The price of her medication alone is out of this world but we wouldn't even consider not giving her the best. It takes a big bite in our budget and will be doing so for the rest of her life. If I had the money I would adopt every dog in Italy. It breaks my heart to see strays and unwanted dogs in the kennels. Remember, our first committment is to the dogs we already have.
