| A reporter was on earlier that said "what we really need are prayers" the same guy said later "we need a miracle"....Prayers have been answered and a miracle was delivered. I can't imagine what those families have been going through. |

| I also say, "Praise the Lord!" I prayed for a miracle, but have to admit, I didn't hold high hopes! I felt like doing cartwheels when I heard the news. Bless all those men and their families and the family of the man who didn't make it. It's going to be interesting to hear their stories on how they survived!

| I hate to be the bearer of bad news. I have been glued to the TV for two hours, and there was a big mistake. Twelve of the thirteen miners have been found dead. One is in critical condition. Whoever announced the supposedly good news, screwed up big time. I am just sick and saddened to hear this. I could not sleep if I wanted to. What a crappy way to start the New Year. Again, I am sorry for everyone's loss, including those on this group who have lost their beloved pets. It just seems overwhelming lately. Kate

| i just cant believe that, picked up the paper this morning and read 12 were alive, was so happy, came into work and was told only 1 survived but in critical conditions... that really sucks... i was so upset with that.. whats up with that jerk who plastered it on the front page . so upsetting, those poor families...

| What sucks is seeing all of the families cheering at the news that 12 survived. Then knowing that they had to live through that horrible reality. It was as if they lost them all over again. It makes me so mad to think that the news ran with it so fast they really didn't know. If reporters weren't always trying to be the first to get the scoop, it probably would have been avoided.

| Oh, I didn't think they had a chance. The last I heard; they had tested the air quality and it was bad and started to move toward them in what would have been a more dangerous way. How wonderful for them and their families and of course sad they had to loose the one man....I have to get to the paper and wonder why he didn't make it.
