| We're expecting a cool down supposed to be 65 degrees tomorrow with chance of rain. I don't even rember what rain is. Of course we will be paying for this beautiful winter come summertime when ca has a horrible draught. |

| Yes, we can go to the moon but we can't change mother nature and the weather she wants to give us. Here is what I was talking about the other day. More frostbite amputations in Ohio because people recognize it much later than usual, doctors say - Story

| Hmmm, wonder why people are not realizing it sooner?

| Good question Kathy, beats me. Maybe just the fact that we have not seen cold weather like this in years and years and nothing to compare it with. Alaska would know immediately how to deal with frost bite.

| I suppose you're right. The temps we've been experiencing lately is record breaking...so of course there's nothing to compare with. But the signs and symptoms of frost bite remain the same. Not as cold here today, got a little snow with several inches in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow. Hope the winds stay somewhat calm...it certainly helps.

| I think it's just so cold we don't have the proper items to deal with it or the knowledge to realize how severe the symptoms are. On one of the days we had snow my mom went out to shovel a bit, she was wearing waterproof insulated gloves and had to come in after 5 minutes because the cold was hurting her hands so badly. If she had pressed on she may have ended up with frostbite. None of us made the connection that it may be something serious. |

| We got 6 or 7 more inches of snow through the night. It's not as cold and the wind is calmer...but still.

| Oh wow, it goes on and on. I'm complaining about 2 weeks straight of pouring rain here, and when it isn't raining the wind is blowing and cold. But compared to what you all are having, this is absolutely nothing. My 4 spoiled pupsters would rather pee on pads in the house when it's so wet outside, and I'm really tired of that.

| We are finally at 20 degrees and should get to 30 today, it will feel like summer. We are hoping for snow here, we have had so little there will not be enough water to fill the reservoir. I think we are on the mend temp wise anyway, a winter I will always remember. Gosh Maui Girl, must feel like London, England.

| So our low last night was -22, that is the actual temp, not wind chill. But on the bright side...the sun was shining today.

| We are getting a foot of snow tomorrow, actually it will start at midnight tonight and snow pretty much hard all through the day tomorrow... YAY!... NOT! LOL We still have a solid 6 inches of snow on the ground from the last snowstorm 2 weeks ago that hasn't melted yet bc it's been soooooo frigid cold!!! Sunday was in the high 40s though.... it felt soooo divine but it rained most of the day! 3.5 months until summer(ish) weather! Counting down the days!
