4" of snow last night and the local weather lady gave us the lovely news that the beginning of next week we will be in single digits again.

My Daughter and I are going to Cleveland Friday so I'm sure there will be a blizzard.

I try not to watch the weather anymore, it's depressing. I hope they're wrong about the single digits.

I take it you must live up North. We didn't get any snow last night but we did get some lovely freezing rain... I'd rather have the snow. On the plus side, it did warm up to about 40 degrees today and melted a lot of the snow and ice. I can actually see some grass sticking out through the snow in some places....its been a long time!

It felt almost spring like here today...compared to the blizzard like conditions with winter weather warnings and 6 more inches of blowing snow we got yesterday.

Here too. 40 degrees feels pretty warm after having several days -20.

My daffs are about 8"...... did I already write that in here? LOL Our weather has turned, our freezing weather is done, it's time to plant some early season stuff, peas, spinach beets......

omg, the floods here today are awful. The entire lower level at the clinic I work at was flooded...what an absolute mess. Roads are closed due to standing water. What is wrong with Mother Nature???

Kathy, I just read about what is hitting Illinois. Do Take Care and keep us up on how things are going. I was just going to post about it and here you are. I think we will be having a gigantic amount of flooding over the entire country when you think of the amount of snow we have had this season. Your area has been hit way too hard.

This has been a heck of a winter...not sure how much more everyone can take. Next week the forecast is for very cold temps again. Oh my...

We had a beautiful day yesterday for our trip to Cleveland, sun out and really perfect but they are reporting single digits will be coming in with a vengeance by Monday or Tuesday.

I just can't see how this can go on much longer however, Mother Nature has a mind of her own.

At least you didn't get that blizzard for your trip.

It made it up to 60 degrees here on Thursday. Shame I was at work all day and missed it. It's supposed to get really cold here again next week too, and shocker.....more snow.

I am so tired of dirty messy paws! Even the park I drive the dogs too, the trails have been salted so my guys are pulling up the paws very early in the walks, and they hate getting the doggie boots on them.

We come home and cause I am anal, I wash all the paws and blow dry their feet. Makes walks take for-ever!
