| When do you take down your Christmas tree? In Connecticut, we always took down our tree during the first week of January. In Georgia, you will see trees on the curb the day after Christmas! We still have ours up, but I will probably take it down tonight.

YT 2000 Club Member | Usually we take it down on New Years Day or the first weekend after New Years. I have a north woods themed home, so it fits right in. I think real trees get taken down earlier than artificial!

| The city has a day where they will come pick you your tree. We seen other trees out on the curb last week, so we took down ours last week so we didn't miss the tree pick up. But normally, the first week of January. |

| Just took the tree down today, cleaned all my ornaments and decorations and they are all stored away now. House is back to normal. This year I even remembered to take the wreath off the front door! (Normally I forget it until I leave the house the first time after taking all the decorations down and remember the Christmas wreath on the door too late!) It's a sad day when I put Christmas away each year but I left out my big Shirley Temple doll that I stand beside the tree out standing where the tree was! Normally I leave the tree up a week or two even after New Years as I so love the lights on in the evenings but today, I just decided not to wait and get it over with. Now I'm kind of glad it's all behind me but I'll miss those lights tonight.

| I always take ours down New Years Day. My MIL insists that I should keep it up until Jan. 6th (the epiphany) but since I'm not religious I do what I want lol. It's MY house, lady

| I was thinking tonight, but I might keep it up one or two more nights. We are in the middle of the huge blizzard today & tomorrow, so I think I want the happiness of the twinkling lights a little bit longer. All the ornaments are off of it, just lights & candy canes left. Its an artificial tree, DH & I are talking about just unplugging it and carrying it downstairs as is, not taking it all apart. If we do that, it will be easy to take down and put away. It makes me sad though! I mean I want my living room back now but I miss the holidays, they come & go sooo quickly!

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | We keep it up until the 6th Little Christmas. For us it is an Italian tradition.

| I'll do it this weekend if weather permits. I think I'm happier getting decorations down then I am of putting them up. Not.. that I put anything up. (my sisters did all of it) LOL I got bit annoyed yesterday b/c of all the trash I found around the certain parts of my house. It's great to have fun and celebrate the new year but PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF!!! Found beer cans, bottles, and other various trash in my yard as well as my next door neighbor's yard. |

| I have to take my tree down before the New Year...don't know why, it's ingrained in my mind. lol!!! So mine was down and everything Christmas was put away on New Years eve. This includes Winston's Christmas themed toys...he's still looking for them...poor baby. He misses the tree, his stocking and all that goes with it.

| We take our tree down on the 26th of December. My Mom always did that so I just follow in her tradition. It's kind of sad to take it down as I love the decorations. The house always looks so bare after everything is packed away! Happy New Year to everyone!! |
