Just took the tree down today, cleaned all my ornaments and decorations and they are all stored away now. House is back to normal. This year I even remembered to take the wreath off the front door! (Normally I forget it until I leave the house the first time after taking all the decorations down and remember the Christmas wreath on the door too late!) It's a sad day when I put Christmas away each year but I left out my big Shirley Temple doll that I stand beside the tree out standing where the tree was! Normally I leave the tree up a week or two even after New Years as I so love the lights on in the evenings but today, I just decided not to wait and get it over with. Now I'm kind of glad it's all behind me but I'll miss those lights tonight.
