Today when I was using a stick vac in my kitchen I was thinking about the same thing, I have a large kitchen with a lot of bottom cupboards and all the crumbs and stuff seem to be lodged against the bottom of the cabinets, plus I have 5 of those rubber type floor rugs that when I use the stick vac I don't pick up, so I was wondering how the rumba would work in that environment.

Also now that I read how expensive they are, LOL I think I will just continue to vac by hand.

But, if you can turn this thing loose to the the rest of the floors, all you have to worry with is corners, it's going to save a lot of cleaning time.....

You could do the corners and everything else, turn it loose to vacuum and be done with the bathroom by the time it's done with its chores.

I want a dyson sooo bad. I use to have a roommate that had one and they are the best! It's been a little out of my price range whenever I went vacuum shopping. The last vacuum I chose was because when you step on the lever the cord wraps itself up. LOL
