| I have done a bit more fall/Thanksgiving decorating inside this year, so want to just enjoy this for a while more. I'm ok with Christmas decos going up the weekend after Thanksgiving, and taking down around New Year's. Of course with it being 85 degrees here, it takes quite a push to get in the spirit. I do have a lighted palm tree that I will put up earlier, before the actual Christmas tree.

| my neighbor has his Christmas lights on now and lights them up. I think it is a good idea to get them up ahead of time, like her in MI where it gets so cold, but I still would not light them up until after thanksgiving.

| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | We will put up our tree after Thanksgiving dinner. It's kind of a tradition around here. Lights usually go up outside the first weekend in December and down January 1st. I kind of understand the malls putting things out early, but IMO, the Mall of Georgia has taken it too far by already having Santa Claus there!

| We use to put up our stuff the day after Thanksgiving and wait until Jan 7th to take everything down in order to honor my mom's traditions from back home. With the move and the new house (ie lots more space!!) we might actually decorate this year.

| We bought a new fake tree this year. Much easier to put up and it's pre-lit. Its cool bc the bulbs are big and they hold 2 small LED lights inside them, one colored and one white. You can make our tree all white, all colored, or blink between the 2. I love it! Well we didn't want to put it downstairs just to get it back up in 2 weeks, and we didn't want the box just hanging out in the living room, so we put our tree up and put the new topper on it. We haven't decorated yet, but it's been up since last Saturday night! I love it!!! Seems early but I think I gots some spirit this year for sure.. so bring on the holidays!!!
