I figured out that we can vote today so no need to answer my question.

Also, saw that YHR has squeaked into first place at this moment! :D My plan... I like this shameless stuff that some have mentioned. ;) I am going to ask everyone I see after church today to vote with their phone.

Got my vote in for the day. I have two more methods to vote and the I am off to church and McDonalds to get some votes.

Good idea, free wifi votes (adding that to my plans). I want YHR to win 1st in Texas so badly, they are a wonderful organization (as I am sure the other Rescue is also).

I have gotten six additional votes so far, this McDonalds thing is working. Kids are loving the picture of Forest but I am afraid McDonalds might throw me out soon for being a creeper (I am camped out at a table by the indoor play area).

Again, I think I should seek professional help for my level of competitiveness. I will stop at nothing to at least try to win, I am not a poor sport but dang I love the challenge of trying to win.

Haha...you should read the other shelterchallenge thread about what I did this morning after work. I am right with you in competitiveness, just not quite as comfortable talking to people I don't know as you. I am more of a spur of the moment opportunist...

so here is my thread I was wondering what happened to it, so I shamelessly posted a new one:D:D

I love the creativeness of you guys. I too want us to win so bad that I have convinced myself I am running for office and campaigning hard. My husband keeps asking when I am going to get out in the yard to help with fall cleanup, but I keep thinking of other people to message that can put us over the top.

he had the nerve to tell me that I can waste more time that anyone he knows, I was like WHAT this is no waste of time.

Anyway I kept my lap top by the garage door and managed to multi task between the computer and the yard. All is good, now shrimp for dinner:D

YHR is now ahead...but one never knows how long that will last. WE got some huge votes together tonight on FB. But that other group is relentless too.

Checked and no data, this thread sounds more negative as to outcome than the others but it does sound like we were a bit ahead there late. Keeping the faith here and hoping!

I think we are to afraid to celebrate, especially since they talk about auditing the votes.
