AWESOME ideas!! :) I have two vet offices voting daily. Facebook is great...we are on a lot of people's pages. I don't do Twitter but I am wondering if that other group is. They don't seem to post much on their FB page but are getting a lot of votes.

I used some hot topical hashtags and put the voting address in two Tweets, asking people to help some little dogs by a vote.

That is not what we are watching...that is for 10,000 and is national. There is no way we can win that by Sunday at midnight.

There are $1,000 prizes for each state. We are inc. in TX so that is the state contest we are in. If you go to Current Standings/2013 Summer: US State/ and then choose TX from the drop down box you will see a graph that will show how close we are. If you hover your cursor over the bars you can see the percentages.

Another rescue has advertised for us and we still cannot seem to catch that group. They seem to stay about .30% ahead of us. :(

Cant even begin to count how many time I've voted !!

Keeping my fingers crossed that they win, YHR can do so many great things with the money as could they all but this one is a special rescue. . for Yorkies !

Yes, it is encouraging today....we do have a lot more new people voting. Hopefully it will continue.

I just read the prizes and found out that the second place rescue in each state will win 100 vaccinations.. So not all will be lost if we take second place! :)
Of course that does NOT mean we are giving in. ;):D:)

I am sitting here, thinking about doing a Starbucks run...maybe a few since we have a few here. I could ask everyone in them to put a vote in for YHR. :D

Perfect, offer to buy a coffee for anyone who will vote for YHR. Dang I think of these ideas to late in the contest. I can't do it tomorrow morning but maybe in the afternoon.

Maybe if we all donated one coffee purchase for a vote and go to our local Starbucks tomorrow. I might go to McDonalds, they have good coffee and I could buy a couple of coffees.

Yes, they do. I wish we could go into tomorrow ahead....but it is what it is. If we can finish off tomorrow with a big bang...we might get it.

I think we can get people to do it without having to buy coffee! I actually almost did it tonight, but was too comfy in my bed. :) We have 5 Starbucks...that could get pricey if I offered to buy coffee. haha

There you go! :) I am definitely going somewhere myself...maybe a couple of places. I am not shy about that stuff either. :D Target is another place ... I am always talking to people in stores.

Ack!!! So I have just had all my coworkers vote again. We were 13.55 to 13.59 a few minutes ago but I just rechecked and we are now 13.57 to 13.6....so close!!!
So, I looked on line and found internet hot spots at Krystal, Office Depot, McDonald's, Panera Bread and CiCi's pizza, so I may be taking the long way home this morning to hit these...:rolleyes:
