| thoughts on Glee anyone watch the show, I do because the music is phenomenal, but am never sure about the message. Just watched the season opener and one of the biggest segments on the show was one of the male High School Kids rallying support from his classmates and friends to join in him a big tribute song to his boyfriend who graduated the year before, all so he could propose, the kids father and teacher were at the proposal along with all the classmates. The gay part did not bother me much, but the thought of everyone so excited about a kid in high school proposing marriage to some one has me wondering why they would want to glamorize it. I find while I love the music I often have a lot of trouble with the story line. I think if I had kids and they watched it I would make sure to watch it with them so they did not get the wrong messages from the show. This week they did old Beetles music and I must say I really enjoyed that part of it.

| Haven't watched that series but celebrating marriage proposals of HS students? Hmmm......unless they have rich parents willing to fund them, those kids are probably in for a very rock start in life. Young people are having real problems getting jobs with college degrees - but high-school grads? How can they pay rent, utilities, insurance, transportation and food costs with entry-level jobs? And go to college full-time, too? I know it's just a TV show but the message seems a poor one to celebrate. Got to agree with you on this, Donna. Not good.

| I rolled my eyes when I realized he was going to propose. I'm SO over glee proposals! There was Finn and Rachel, then Sam and Brittany got married but turned out it was fake...I don't get it. I don't like it either. It makes it seem like to keep a relationship going, kids need to get married. I especially didn't like that Kurt has seemed distant of Blaine for so long, especially after Blaine cheated, but he said yes to the proposal? Either it will get called off like all the other weddings, or it'll be the biggest gayest most fab wedding on TV. also, I am really anxious about how they are going to handle Finn's death. I've been watching since season 1 episode 1 and I was in show choir before the show even premiered. So I feel obligated to keep watching even though it becomes more and more of a train wreck of bad writing. Tonights episode will be more Beatles, and then next week will be the Finn tribute episode. After that they're going on hiatus again. I just feel apathetic about it at this point. They should just cancel the show after the Finn episode.

| I have been watching since the beginning and I really loved it. But once most of the main cast graduated, the show went down hill. A lot of the plots are a little out there for me and just aren't believable. I watched the first episode of this season and I likely will not continue to watch. But, I am also curious how they will handle Finn's death. Might have to watch that episode.

| you are right Carmen the story lines are so far fetched and bad, what about Sue planting all that crap in the principles office, not sure why they put in stuff like that, it is so not needed. I only watch it since I really enjoy the singing and dancing, I might just start fast forwarding through the dialogue. LOL if they came in town for a concert I might be the oldest person to buy a ticket. I DVR everything so will watch it later this week. Tonight we watched Nashville recorded from last night.
