| Words That Are Unique to Your Area Ok, so another thread sparked this idea. What is a word/words that you hear, are familiar with, that others my not be? I am from the south so we have many! So y'all sit back because we are fixin' to see some neat things! So what do you have??

| So babygirl & gardengirl...have y'all said somethin I shouldn't understand? I think it is funny that here a Coke is any type of pop or soda. If you order a Coke, the next question is "what kind". Cindersellie- we have cricks and obviously say y'all, but I think "devils strip" is very local to your area, according to an episode of Criminal Minds I saw. That colloquialism was used in the show to narrow down the search area for a murderer. (Yes, I'm full of worthless TV trivia)

| I still get that at work from older folks, and the 1st time I was asked for a "chamber pot", I had no clue!
