| OMG! you have got to be kidding me...i will never be able to comprehend how someone can steal or thinks they have the right to go into someone's belongings and take what is not theirs....all we can do is hope that they will get what is coming to them.

| I am also sorry about what happened and the fact that it was Christmas. But I understand your frustration. I have a cousin who had done similar but he was stealing my dad's checks and writing them all over town. Even after dad found out and confronted him (not in a nice way either) and changed his bank account and hiding place of his checks........he then stole valuable things from the house and his grandmother's house and went to the pawn shop. He did have a drug problem and was turned in to the police by the bank-not the family. He was in jail and released for one day to attend our grandfather's funeral (the same man we all spent most of our youth growing up with) and stole our grandfather's checkbook and forged a check within minutes following the funeral. The family did not want to report it to the police.........well, I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!!! So, the following day I called his probation officer and reported the offense and he was graciously approved some extra jail time. Needless to say, he has been in jail then prison several times. He is out again and me being the optomist, I am just waiting for the next time. My grandmother also tried to take up for him and help him only to be stabbed in the back by the same individual. To help is to only hinder. Life is a very cruel world and I am constantly telling my children that there are consequences to pay for the actions we chose to make. And that doesn't mean we are given pardon just because we wake up one day in a bad mood, someone dared us to do it, someone butted in line before me, etc. Good luck on the sting.

| I have an aunt like this she is worthless and would steal from anyone. On Christmas this year my husband gaurded my purse like it was his own. My aunt does not have a job and she is broke all the time, when she does get money she spends it on drugs. Shes one of those kind of people that you are embarrassed to claim as your relative. Anyways she is so pathetic that when my grandpa was dying of cancer about 5 years ago she stole all of his pain medication and so my grandpa was without medication until the next morning when my grandma could call the pharmacy. I am so sorry this happened to you and maybe you should confront her about it. I just cant believe what some people would do for a few dollars!!!

| Connie, how awful!!!! I just don't understand how people can do that to others especially family. I swear, people are just rude & disrespectful. People feel like others owe them something. If they need help then they should ask for it.
