| ![]() I think we must be talking about two different hospitals. I was talking about the biggish one - 3 stories tall? - and yesterday I just heard the ER head doctor, that 34 year old blonde woman Dr. Sanjay Gupta of CNN said did such a great job running things during the storm for such a young doc, say they did gather all patients to the lowest floor, push all the beds to the safest portion of the hospital where they rode out the storm and didn't have one bad injury, then evacuated the patients. That hospital had a lot of damage but it wasn't leveled or walls all tumbled in. Ceiling came off but by then they had those patients in the top story down in the safer section. I'll always get to a big hospital's basement if I'm ever in a huge tornado's way and have any warning at all.

| ![]() I'm sorry I was misinformed by someone. I can only watch so much of the news before i break down.. But, you are correct they did go into the basement like area. I have to say it is a heart warming sight to see all the volenteers that have come out to help with the clean up and donations. And I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been praying and donating time, money and supplies to my home town. ![]()

| ![]() No I was not in my house when it went through. Luckly my mother and my dd and myself went across the street to my neighbors house and got into their storm cellar. Being from Oklahoma its almost second nature to watch the storm as it passes by and take pics/video of it. Stupid? yes..But its just something we do. LOL I lived in Moore thru the May 3rd, May 8th and this last one, and I have to say the one we had on Monday was the scarriest. Its the first time I have ever felt the need to be in a under ground cellar, and Monday was the first time I got to properly meet my neighbors. It was a little akward knocking on their door and asking if we could use their cellar but they opened their home and cellar to us no questions about who we were or where we lived ect.. The wife gave me a big hug and said "come on in, do you have anyone else with you?" That is one of the reasons I would never leave Oklahoma. The people here are so kind and friendly, and would help anyone out in need.

I cannot begin to imagine experiencing 3 of these monster tornadoes. Best wishes to you and your town.
