| To add insult to injury! Yesterday I posted that my allergies have been horrible. I'm miserable with them. I have 1 ear infection also, so that side of my head hurts. Well yesterday I had to have 2 fillings on my 2 front teeth. I had a TINY cavity between the 2 front teeth, so basically I needed a filling (in the back) on both the teeth. It was so small and took them literally 30 seconds to drill out both teeth. In total it took all of 20 mins to do both teeth. But about 730pm the Novocaine was wearing off and I could feel where the needle went into my gums. When she was doing the Novocaine, I felt the needle in my sinuses and the fluid run down my throat! AWFUL!!!!! Not painful but a weird feeling. Also, because the filling was between my 2 teeth, after they filled it, they had to use a tiny saw blade/sandpaper stick almost, to saw through the middle of my 2 front teeth to make the gap again for floss, well she went up to high and my gums are all shredded in the back and it's painful to bite into anything. I also feel the filling with my tongue so of course my tongue keeps going there so it's all irritated from rubbing it. And now for some reason I am talking with a small lisp for some reason! Plus my mouth just does not move or form words right. Its like being invaded!!!! Ive had very few fillings, but I have had a root canal and I've had an implant, yet this was the WORST experience EVER! I hated every second of it and today I hate it even more!

| Oh, I am so sorry to hear this as I too have had a difficult time with my teeth and allergies! Both things are near unbearable but to have to deal with them both at the same time is nothing more than cruel and unusual punishment! I feel so bad for you!! Sending you a warm hug and prayers for a quick recovery from both! I would also contact my dentist again and let ask them if you can have something more than Advil for pain. They should be able to help you out!! Blessings and peace!!

I don't even think I can bite into an apple today. which is a bummer because I have 2 here that look really good! Im going to get coffee and go hide in a corner! LOL

| In time you will adjust to the space and the edges will come off that area and your tongue won't go there. You probably got some tiny muscles holding the teeth insulted during the work and those areas are inflamed and swollen and hurting too. In can take 2 -3 weeks for those areas to settle down but usually it is quicker than that. Dental work can be such an insult to the mouth and body and psyche in and of itself but on top of other sinus or ear problems, it is a booger! I feel your pain!!!
