I hope the judge will not allow the taping of the victims statements phase of the trial. They are entitled to do this live and in person. Jodi should have to sit through it, they did for four months. Couldn't you just see Jodi if they allowed the statements to be taped, she would sit there and doodle as if it had nothing to do with her.

People are betting Jodi will get up during the mitigation phase of the trial to trash Travis for the last time. For her she just can't pass up another chance to try to show everyone they have it all wrong, she's the victim and she's innocent.

While I was typing this HLN was talking about the movie that is being made about Jodi and Travis. The actress playing Jodi just said she is "not judging Jodi for what she did".....really? Is she an airhead? But the actor playing Travis said exactly what we all feel about the situation.

I don't know who's version they are making, Jodi's or J.M., I won't watch either one.

I had an inlaw who worked in a psych ward years back and she told me it's rough on suicidal patients - excuse me, clients. I think she kept calling them clients. Bet Jodi gets off it pretty quickly once they clear her.

That would really surprise me, I know there's TV’s in jail, but they don't have outside cable, they have things like Sheriff Joe reading them a goodnight story. :rolleyes:

I'll bet you are right - not in his jails. I'd hope the psych wards at least have them to keep the truly sick mind busy if the constant noise doesn't bother them. As for her, I doubt she's watching anything that doesn't have her reflection in it. If they want to keep her busy, just paint a mirror on the wall and she'll be totally involved staring at that. But boy, if you weren't crazy before you hit that ward, having nothing whatsoever to do and living in a paper gown eating with your fingers would sure drive you crazy! And one more thing - no dogs!

Yes, and she cries while telling of her love for her little pet dog. Of course, the dog was abusive and chewed up some diapers and Jodi had to clean up the mess, and she kicked it, (in self-defense, I'm sure ) and the dog allegedly ran away, but who knows with Jodi?

I also learned there is TV in AZ prisons. I got to thinking I'd heard it was required by federal law and looked it up. I read just enough of one article to see that it said Sheriff Joe only lets them watch the Disney Channel and The Weather Channel! I imagined Congress passed that law once so many federal employees, financiers and lawyers began winding up in prison! :(

Indeed....I thought of that later. She is a total monster....not worthy of being called a dog. Shame on me. I was merely thinking of the b word when I said it. B**** is almost too nice for her as well.

haha. Just kidding you. B**** in the human context fits her like a glove. She's far more B than any female dogs!!!

I heard her calling the reporter and arranging her post-1st-degree-conviction interview. She had her plan to cry "just kill me" ON TV all planned out and we giving that reporter instructions just like a drill-sargeant.

Several of the experts on HLN had been saying if Jodi had premeditated the murder, why did she have sex with Travis first? Some people felt she was trying to talk him into taking her on the Cancun trip. Others have said she just wanted one more roll in the hay. Last night’s Dateline brought out the fact that the Mormon Church, believe if you don’t repent about having premarital sex before you die, you will go to hell. Lots of people pray each night for sins to be washed and for help with temptation, but this really makes me think Jodi in her utterly deluded mind was not only trying to kill Travis, she was trying to send him to eternal Hell!

Actually nauseated after hearing Juan Martinez go over that death process again. That was as ugly as it gets. If that mess wasn't especially cruel and caused undue suffering and anguish, what more would it take to meet that State's standard? One of the reporters said they jury is going to eat before deliberating. I'll bet they don't get much down after that testimony. I noticed Jodi Arias doesn't have her usual smirk today.

Dateline must of got it wrong, 'cause Mormons don't believe in Hell. Not in the way it's ususally put anyway. They believe you'll be in a lower kingdom. They have an 'outer darkness' for those who even on the other side, won't repent of the worst sins. Perhaps that's what they ment.

I hope Jodi gets the death sentence. Perhaps having sex one last time, was part of her being in control, manipulation, laughing at him.

I too think she slept with him one last go 'round to see if she couldn't use her wiles to control him one more time. And he didn't budge or they both would have gone to Cancun - not one dead and one running. I think that's when she finally snapped is when he finally, definitely, probably a little harshly, told her no and she knew he meant it.

No, instead she is sitting there faking crying. I did not see her take her glasses off to dry them ONE time..did you? Did I miss something? Anyone who has ever worn glasses knows there is no way if you cried that much they would not be fogged and wet. All she does as usual is put a tissue to her nose and scrunch up that ugly face. She makes me sick.
