I am placing my bets on murder in the first and death. |
I’ve got to admit I feel a little bad for Nurmi, he tried to quit the case 4 times even left the public defender’s office and opened up his own practice, (apparently he would rather defend child molesters than Jodi :p). They made him take the case, and I think he tried to get her to take a temporary insanity defense, but that would have made her have to admit to some responsibility and Jodi just can’t do that, and also the fact that Travis didn’t want her anymore. She has a vision of herself that Travis worshipped her, (although abused her ) she wanted to break off the relationship, not Travis. I really don’t think her fragile ego can permit her to accept the truth. I had to laugh when he said something about you don’t have to like Jodi, I don’t even like her 9 out of 10 days. I really thought that was a mistake, it goes against their defense of Jodi being a soft spoken, people pleaser, who just wanted to make Travis happy. I’ve heard that Willmott jumped at the case, thinking it would be good for her career, I wonder if that will work out for her? |

I heard on the news that Wilmott had gotten some death threats - so, I'm guessing she regrets taking on this case....? I haven't been too impressed with her either!! Her style got on my nerves. I think anyone associated with Jodi's defense is going to regret that association! Has anyone heard how LaViolette is doing? Last I heard people were attacking her on Amazon and she had been in the ER with anxiety/chest pains.... I still am amazed the defense could find anyone to testify on Jodi's behalf!? Although, I heard this morning that 'Jodi supporters' had sent her $2200 this year to buy snacks and toiletries in prison...? Jodi has requested that all donations going forward be sent to her mothers address ....I'm guessing Jodi is thinking she's gonna get to move home??? Brother.... |
I heard on CNN or HLN that so far this case has soaked the good citizens and taxpayers of Arizona to the tune of 2 million dollars! Can that possibly be true? In a person who confessed to the crime? |

I think something happened with LaViolette....perhaps she got nailed for lying about testifying for men? That was a pure a$$ fib on her part. I believe she was in the Judge's chambers the next day?? I also wonder if Willmott did get nailed for that b**** word in court. These things would be kept quiet I am thinking so as not to derail this trial. |

Here's another picture I love. |
Frugal? That's absolutely nuts to take back a $13.00 item! But in her case, she couldn't return it because of those 3 receipts all around $5 - $6 for what - 2 gals. of gas and she had put gas in it. I doubt if any store would take it back smelling of gas, even if she washed it. I heard a woman from California say on HLN that everybody who drives from Cali to Az knows that gas is 80 cents cheaper in Az, the minute one crosses the border the price plummets so there goes the money-saving reason for the gas cans. She has lied once - enough to impeach her testimony right there if one is a purist. But this woman lied a second time through ???? times - enough to shred her credibility on the stand for anything she says. And inconsistent statements is another reason to impeach the witness. Her testimony is full of inconsistencies. She's about the most impeached witness I've ever seen. Technically, the jury shouldn't believe one thing she says. I don't know how a jury can't find for premeditated murder with the max sentence against her but usually there are one or two in every group of people that need more convincing than others for pre-meditation or have empathy somehow with the defendant in some way, just can't stand to see the State "kill" a woman, are secretly anti-death penalty or just think life is far more of a punishment in the long run. IDK, if you don't max punish people who overkill/slaughter as she did w/out good evidence of any kind giving her any credible justification for it, then you send a powerful message that in some cases, a minute- or two-long slaughter is excused by our society and justice system. I guarantee you, if she were a man who killed his female lover in this same manner, it would be a done deal - the needle. |
