| Of course I was 17 and felt like if I didn't I was disrespeting him. But I told my dad later on and he was like "he did whhhat?". There have been many many ODD things they've done..they're very overprotective! Now my boyfriend has "control issues" any type of control he can't stand. It really stinks!

| Thought this was funnny... A guy brings his dog into the vet and says, "Could you please cut my dog's tail off?" The vet examines the tail and says, "There is nothing wrong. Why would you want this done?" The man replies, "My MIL is coming to visit, and I don't want anything in the house to make her think that she is welcome!" |

| I know this might sound weird, but you have to learn to talk to some people or they will run all over you. I learned this the hard way, really hard. Now I'm in control of what I want to be control of and let other things just blow right by me. In your case, if my mother in law would have said that to me, I would have said, you really need to check with me next time, I could have had another appointment after, and then Mollie would have been stuck with you all day! Something like that. Sometimes you turn it around right on them. I know to some people they might disagree, but I was run over for years until I learned this. Good Luck and start now!! |
