| I actually think there is a tremendous need and tons of space for this in the pet marketplace. I have customers all day long questioning where they can purchase cute, fashionable items for their larger breed dogs and I cannot offer any input. Large dog owners are always looking for adorable sandals, giant, pretty pink booties for their big dog or a dress that could actually fit a 100 lb. dog. It just doesn't exist. I find myself often saying "they just don't make cute stuff for the bigger dogs".

| Will never be a huge market. At least... no time soon.

Also keep in mind that an outfit that's not fit correctly on a small dog isn't so noticable. A half an inch here or there, but for example, an armhole that's off on a larger dog it will really show.

| My Golden has 1 sweater, 1 fleece rubber ducky coat, 1 bright orange jacket for if we go hiking during hunting season, and a bright red coat. It is not for warm so much as safety or to decrease the amount of water/muck he brings in. It is quicker and easier to take off a jacket/coat than demuck him!

| I was always looking for clothes that would actually fit my 130 lb bullmastiff! However, not even Rory and Lane have $1,000 dresses. I suppose I can understand the pricepoint if you compare the detailing/beadwork/etc on some of the nicer dresses and then multiply it by the size difference. Hutch never minded clothes, and he really liked it when I'd tuck him in, especially when he was going through chemo. Not sure if he was cold or just liked the extra attention, but he could also overheat quickly when it was warm outside like many brachycephalic breeds.

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | So, you inspired me Priscilla. Now all I have to do is get a larger embroidery frame for my machine & I'll be able to make the big boys this ![]() My step daughter in law puts her American Bulls in clothes. I'll just about bet the large breed rescues around here would dress their boys up as long as it wasn't binding or too bulky.
