| -60 below??!!! Is that even a real temperature??? I have absolutely no concept whatsoever of what that would feel like besides immediate, numbing, painful frostbite...Wow...

As Connie knows, my brother works in Minot, North Dakota and looks forward to trips home to "warm" Chicago. We were complaining in Northern Virgina that temps dipped down to 10 degrees. Yes, we are wimps.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hubby's fam is in MN too - Minneapolis, Pequot Lakes, and Mankato - and they said they are frozen to the bone! I grew up not far from you, and I def remember those wayyyyyyyyy below zero days. Don't miss them one bit! Then again, it can be 115 and humid here in the summer...which is no treat.

| Good grief! You poor guys. I don't know how your central heat keeps up! I honestly don't. And your houses must have quadruple insulation, etc. What in the world happens if your heat goes off - guess you have a generator or something that kicks in? Do you all have any warming centers or something to go to if you lose your heat? I'm worried as that sounds really dangerous if anything goes wrong. I don't think my truck would even try to start in weather that cold. I can't imagine getting through the night knowing that kind of weather was going on with only a wall between it and me and mine. I think we're in the upper 60's today though it's 45 right now but sun streaming through the windows. I'll be blowing you any heat I can up your way today. Wish we could loan you that excess heat we had from last summer!!! It's a shame we can't bank that stuff and pass it around up North come winter. Be safe tonight.

| It was 58 here this morning but will be 34 by the time I get out of work at 5. Tomorrow it will be a high of 29. ALL snow has melted just about and probably right on time to get more tomorrow. Recover everything back up. These up & down temps in the winter are breeding ground for illness. I'm ready for spring!!!

| Holy Moly! It is about 82 here. People in Miami wear uggs and coats when it is about 65. I can't even imagine how cold it is up there. Sending all the warm thought up there, we need more cold days here we have only had 2 this winter!!
